Nordstrom released its sale Preview yesterday, and I have to say, I’m pleasantly surprised by the small-yet-mighty selection of plus-size clothing. This year in particular I found that plus-size pants are making waves. From really timeless corduroy to the dreamiest lightweight pants, there is a diverse selection of plus-size bottoms for every occasion.
And I’m happy to see so many more EILEEN FISHER clothing available, and IMO, for the first time ever those pieces are actually more extensive and slightly cooler than the straight-size offerings.

After spending an extensive amount of time browsing the Preview, I found myself gravitating toward pieces that feel classic and timeless. Like I really, really love these vintage-y Madewell jeans that give that effortlessly put-together feel. While there aren’t any new jackets I’ll be adding to my wardrobe this season, my forever raincoat from Barbour is in the sale this year, and the patchwork puffer coat that sold out in record time is making an appearance for the second year in a row. Both are stellar options if you’re looking for a cute coat, and both will be worn on heavy rotation by yours truly.

I’ve been a huge fan of the Canadian tuxedo for many years, and I love playing with denim-on-denim outfits. Lately I’ve really been drawn to mixing different denim hues together, and I love pairing light chambray tops with darker-wash jeans. Add a ’90s-nostalgia Barbie pink Kate Spade bag and the cutest chrome platform sandals from Larroude to complete the look.

I fell in love with Western boots last year, and the same remains true for me today. This outfit gives me all the cool-girl Western vibes, and there’s just so much to love here: I’m swooning over these corduroy jeans by Kut from the Kloth, and this EILEEN FISHER tee looks like it has that perfect drape we all love, and don’t get me started on how epically good these black-and-white Dolce Vita Western boots are.

I personally tend to gravitate toward solid colors, but if you’re a gal who likes to dabble in patterns, then you need to take a peak at the gorgeous citrus and navy blue floral version. And if it’s an outdoor wedding, then this AllSaints ruana is an absolute must for the chillier evening weather.

I’ve been a work-from-home girlie for almost three years now, and while I absolutely love it, there are times when I miss the camaraderie of being in an office.

It’s the perfect size for fitting your laptop, and the deep teal color feels on-trend for the season. I love that they’re so dark that they almost look black, and think they make the perfect pants for everyday wear. Not to mention that they would be easy to dress up too!
