Every year, right around Memorial Day weekend, Nordstrom quietly drops one of the best sales of the season, and if you’ve been sleeping on it, consider this your reminder. The Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale 2026 (also called the Nordstrom Memorial Day Sale, because, well, that’s when it happens) is live now through June 1, with up to 50% off across clothing, shoes, bags, and more.
Unlike the big Anniversary Sale in July, this one focuses on current-season pieces you can actually wear right now, which means the deals hit different.

The Best Shoes & Sandals On Sale In The Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale
If you’re looking for sneakers, slides, or those trending woven ballet flats…you’re in LUCK. Let’s go.
1. Marc Fisher LTD Evonna Mary Jane Flat
Shana says: One of the winners of my recent Mesh & Woven Ballet Flat Try-On, these shoes are really comfortable and walkable. And the ivory looks kiiiind of amazing with all of my spring and summer outfits. Highly recommend!
2. Sam Edelman Darla Slide Sandal
Laura says: These Sam Edelman Darla sandals are one of my top picks for a super comfy slide (also bunion friendly) and they’re on sale in a fun leopard print at Nordstrom. Not so excited that I’ve become the poster child for bunion-friendly shoes around here, but hey, I got you if you got those. These are good to go right out of the box.
3. Sam Edelman Pax Ankle Strap Sandals

Scotti says: If you love the look of delicate strappy sandals but want something easier to walk in, these are such a good option. The thin straps feel minimal and elevated, the ankle strap keeps them secure, and the 2 1/4″ heel adds just enough height. (They do run a little narrow through the toe straps, so maybe not ideal for wider feet.) Also come in ivory, dark brown, beige, and tan–all 40% off!
4. Adidas SL-72 Sneakers
Shana says: I wore these all over Spain last summer and they continue to be one of the most comfortable, walkable sneakers I own. While only the brown (with baby blue stripes!) are on sale, it’s a seriously cute colorway. I’ve found that this sneaker runs a bit big (I sized down a half size).
5. Puma Speedcat OG Sneakers
Shana says: I initially overlooked Puma since I’m such an Adidas fan…but these sneakers are sneaky-cool, and have definitely grown on me! They’re just so comfortable and squishy, and the retro styling is great – they work with a lot of outfits. Only a few colorways on sale, but I’m DYING over this lilac one. Fit is TTS.
6. Rag & Bone Retro Court Sneakers
Linzi says: I’ve worn and loved multiple colorways of these Rag & Bone Retro Court sneaks for years. My go-to fashion sneak. Much more comfortable footbed than other fashion sneaks I’ve worn, and the classic retro style is perfection (especially for those of us who don’t gravitate toward the super low-profile styles).

Shana says: These jeans have been absolute winners for me this spring. I’m such a t-shirt-jeans-&-sneakers kind of girl, and they make every combo instantly better. The petite version is on sale at Mother Denim (that’s what I’m wearing), but the regular sizes (with a 32” inseam) are part of Nordstrom’s Half-Yearly Memorial Day Sale. The key with these jeans is to size up one size.
2. MOTHER Lil’ Hustler Roller Patch Pocket

Linzi says: I LOVE these jeans…they’re soft, stretchy, look great in the butt, and have just enough interest with the front patch-pockets to give simple outfit combos a little boost in style. At 5’2, the regular length ones are a bit too long for me (I have to wear them with platform sandals), so I wish I had the petite length that are currently on sale.

Scotti says: MOTHER is one of my favorite denim brands for curves because they somehow always make your butt look amazing. I love the two-tone detail on these, and I actually like the newer version on sale even more. The darker denim is the main panel with the lighter denim on the sides, which gives them a really flattering look.

Amy says: The jeans in the sale are a slightly darker wash, but even so, these are some of the most flattering MOTHER jeans I’ve ever tried and deserve to be snatched up if your size is still avail!
5. Paige Anessa Crop Wide-Leg Jeans

Jess says: These Paige Anessa Crop Wide-Leg Jeans are honestly some of the most flattering jeans I’ve ever put on my body. And they have 2% spandex so they have room to move without any unsightly bagginess. They stay looking fresh all day long. I found them to run slightly small, so if you are in between sizes, order up.
The Best Tops On Sale In The Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale
Ooo…there’s some really exciting gems in the tops department. We recommend heading straight for the brands that don’t always go on sale, like Frank & Eileen and Eileen Fisher (all the Eileens! lol).
1. Frank & Eileen ‘Eileen’ Button Up

Shana says: One of my longtime favorites, these Frank & Eileen shirts (aptly named ‘the Eileen’) is hands-down the best button-up shirt for just…slouchin’ around. Super lightweigh and perfectly cut, these shirts are B-corp certified and made in the US by a women-owned (and led!!) company. We ADORE them. Anyway, these pieces RARELY go on sale, so I was thrilled to find this cute heart print. I’d wear it all year…but I might size up so it’s extra slouchy. I’m currently wearing a size small (it’s a perfect, slouchy fit) but am thinking I’ll grab a medium in the heart print.
2. Frank & Eileen ‘Eileen’ Terry Button-Up

Amy says: This french terry button-up is on sale in two different colors! It’s amazing quality and works for spring, cool summers evenings, and long after summer ends, which makes it an amazing investment.
3. Eileen Fisher V-Neck Boxy T-Shirt

Laura says: This V-neck Eileen Fisher tee is great (just a little longer on me than I wanted for my tees you don’t have to tuck-in try-on.) But if you’re looking for a regular length, SUPER soft tee, this one’s on sale in black, a gorgeous pale blue and a pretty periwinkle-ish shade. SO good. Runs a little big. Wearing a M.

Shana says: Mother Denim makes some of the best graphic tees and sweatshirts – so unique and full of personality – that they’re one of my favorite things to shop for on sale. This one is a good example (the “LOOK AT ME GO” cracks me up). Happily, there’s a BUNCH of Mother Denim tees, sweatshirts, and rugby shirts on sale for Nordstrom’s Memorial Day sale. (Like…sheep? Why? But I like it, haha.)

Laura says: This denim top is so freaking soft and beautiful for an easy long sleeve to wear right now over a tank, with the sleeves rolled up, over a swimsuit at the beach or pool…it’s Rails level softness but not at that price point. So good. TTS.
The Best Bags On Sale In The Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale
Obviously, we’re heading right for the Clare V. bags on sale. There’s a ton. Oddly enough, we also found some pre-loved Hermes bags on sale, if anyone’s bag budget is, uh, greater than ours, haha. At least this Hermes is under $1000. 🙂
Anyway, here’s our team picks.
1. Clare V Lune Bag
Linzi says: The Clare V Lune is SUCH a chic year-round bag. Several colorways are on sale including the absolutely gorgeous navy that I’ve been eyeing since it came out.
2. Naghedi Bags On Sale
Shana says: I LOVE these bags because they’re virtually indestructible, can be folded flat to pack, and can be stuffed to the brim without losing their shape. Women-founded and led, each bag is woven – by hand – out of neoprene. The brand (named for the founder, Sara Naghedi) also has a recycle program, where you can send your bags back in to be recycled (if you ever happen to get sick of them). I’ve been carrying mine for the last couple of years – it’s PERFECT for summer travel. Mine is the ‘mini’ size, the on-sale size, small, is just a tiny bit bigger (and that cross-body strap is removable). There’s also a size medium on sale, if interested.
3. Tumi Backpacks On Sale

Shana says: I’ve been carrying a TUMI backpack for over 8 years – they really are the best. They’re perfectly engineered for travel, and I’ve literally never had a frayed seam or a ripped bag, or even a broken zipper to deal with (and I’m REALLY hard on these bags).
If you need a really good gift for guys (whether Father’s Day or graduation), I highly recommend this tan TUMI backpack or this cool, heathered gray TUMI backpack.

They are always extremely well made and feel like they could be much more expensive. This one, the WAYF Juliet Print Linen Blend Midi Sundress, runs small, especially in the bust, so order one size up!
2. WAYF Carina Cap Sleeve Linen Blend Maxi Dress

Jess says: My favorite affordable dress brand strikes again with this romantic, lightweight, cap sleeve linen-blend dress. As always with Wayf dresses, the quality and the little extra details really make this dress a keeper. It has delicate white lace trim across the chest and the back smocking makes this dress easier to move in for all day wear. It also comes in ivory and it’s 25% off for under $75!
3. Sam Edelman Cotton Poplin Mini Dress
Shana says: Ok, so this is NOT the same dress. However!! I ended up wearing my similar one a TON last summer, simply because the shape of this dress is perfect on hot days – I loved that it basically didn’t touch my body as I walked around. And cotton poplin (something these dresses have in common) is magic: I had red wine dumped on me, walked into the restaurant bathroom, rinsed the entire front of my dress off in the sink, squeezed it out, and walked back. By the time dinner was over, my dress was dry, and you could barely even tell anything had gone wrong.
