I’m headed to Paris next week so all I’ve been thinking about lately is summer European travel… and summer European travel outfits. You’ve got to admit, they do dress on the (way) chicer side over there, so the pressure’s kind of on. I wanna dress the part, while not spending $$$, yanno?

That’s precisely where Walmart comes in. Their spring & summer clothing, shoe & accessory collections have been spot-on lately soooo I wanted to try out a few pieces for myself, in hopes of to packing ’em all for France. (Spoiler alert: I will be doing just that!) I also grabbed some of my long-loved travel essentials to round out a little packing list.

Packing For Paris: These 16 Things From Walmart

Are you guys ready for an EPIC Walmart inspo sesh? Because I was so. blown. away. by these pieces. They’re truly impressive and luxe-leaning. Wait till you see…

1. An Easy (But Pretty) Top + 2. Lightweight Trousers

What I'm packing for Paris from Walmart: a striped linen top, lightweight white trousers and the Tory Burch market plaid tote bag. Budget-friendly Paris outfit.

top (M, runs large) | trousers (10, TTS) | necklace | bag

I knew this linen top was going to be good IRL. (There are also matching linen pants, shorts and a blazer!) It’s one of the most light & airy pieces I’ve ever put on my body (no joke) and will look so dang cute paired with jeans, shorts, and even the eyelet skirt below.

These trousers are deliciously long, lightweight and just luxe-looking. I paired them with a cute top & sneakers but I can also see them dressed up with a fancier blouse & heels, the quality is that good. They come in four colors, sizes 0-20. I’m 5’6″ and wore a size 10, but probably could’ve taken an 8.

3. A Gold Accessory

Umm… how gorgeous is this little knot necklace?! I wore it a couple times this weekend and got sooo many compliments. I love that it elevates my outfits juuuust enough. Time and Tru makes really great, affordable jewelry.

4. A Cute Trench

What I'm packing for Paris from Walmart: a cute trench coat.

Most European cities that can get a little chilly call for a trench coat – I don’t make the rules. This one caught my eye and I’m very impressed by the quality. I love the unique two-tone coloring and the thickness of the material. And the details make it feel expensive; a notch collar, double breasted button front, stitched accent cuffs, two side-seam pockets with button-flap accents. Under $50! Très chic.

5. An Easily-Packable Tote

I grabbed this Tory Burch tote because A. the print was speaking to me – howwww cute is that market plaid?!?! And B. It’s a durable yet lightweight mesh (with leather accents) that packs flat in my suitcase. I love that Walmart carries designers like Tory Burch, Chanel, Chloe, Coach and tons more. Such a find!

6. A Playful (Yet Elegant) Black Dress

What I'm packing for Paris from Walmart: A Playful Black Dress + Tory Burch market plaid tote bag

dress (M, TTS) | bag

I needed a black dress in my travel wardrobe because they dress up & down super easily. The front ruching, halter neck & cutout detail make this dress decidedly special. I kiiiind of want it in the white…and the print too? It fits so well and just made me feel a bit fabulous. Which I’ll take any day!

7. A Chic Tank + 8. A Long White Skirt

Paris outfit: a chic strappy tank top, a long white skirt, black flip flops and a plaid tote bag. Walmart fashion, budget-friendly outfit.

tank (M, TTS) | skirt (L, TTS) | shoes | bag

I can tell that this halter tank is going to be one of my most-worn tops of the summer. It’s simple but with a little somethin’ somethin’, and feels so soft & buttery against the skin. Comes in 4 colors.

There’s something so classically summery about a long white skirt. They’re so easy to wear and make any top feel just a little bit more playful & fancy, regardless of footwear. I can’t wait to wear this pretty eyelet one with a little tee or even the linen vest from above for some texture/pattern play.

9. A Cute Hat + 10. Simple Sandals

Paris outfit: a chic strappy tank top, a long white skirt, black flip flops and a cute baseball hat. Walmart fashion, budget-friendly outfit.

tank (M, TTS) | skirt (L, TTS) | shoes | hat | bag

Gotta love a $6 outfit-maker. (AKA, this cute little baseball hat.) It comes in six colors and just adds a sweet, sporty edge to all my outfits. I love it especially with something more feminine for some style juxtaposition.

These sandals (well, flip-flops) are GREAT! They’re soft, comfortable, and just a good, simple summer shoe option. They come in black & brown in both medium and wide widths. (And they’re under $10!)

11. A Portable Charger

Packing For Paris: A Portable Charger

portable charger

A charged phone is a complete necessity traveling anywhere, but especially abroad. I mean, I need to look up directions & open Google Translate like every 5 minutes sooo!! Can’t go without a portable charger. I love how small and slim this one is, and that there’s a built-in Apple plug & Type-C charging cable. It’s one of the most affordable ones I’ve seen, too!

12. This Anti-Chafing Stick

Packing For Paris: Thigh Rescue Stick

thigh rescue stick

There is nothing more aggravating than chafing thighs in the summer. IT’S SO UNCOMFORTABLE. I’ve found these anti-friction sticks sooooo freaking helpful for when I’m walking miles in dresses or shorts. This one by Megababe is my favorite yet. It just gliiiiides.

13, 14, & 15. On-The-Go Beauty: Hair + Skin + Lip

dry shampoo powder | concealer | lip

Three products that I cannot travel without: a dry shampoo (powder, not spray – I find it SO much more effective and travel-friendly), a trustworthy concealer (I’ve used this Maybelline one since high school, the easy sponge applicator is so easy for quick touch-ups), and a pretty lip color (Paris = a red lip, and this one by elf is suuuper hydrating & wearable).

16. A Travel Haircare Set

A Travel Haircare Set

I love grabbing a high-end skincare or hair care set to take traveling because they fit easily in my toiletry bag and I get the chance to try out a few products before committing to the full size! I’ve been wanting to try this Oribe Gold Lust hair revival kit because of its outstanding reviews.
