While everyone has been buzzing about pumpkin spice lattes and colder weather for weeks, September 22 officially marked the start of fall, and I couldn’t be more excited about it! I’m so ready to be inspired by a new season: cozy layers, cute fall outfits, boots I’ve been dying to break out, and all things fall trends (I rounded up some other trends with plus-size-friendly pieces, here). And IMO the biggest trend I’m excited about this year? Zebra print. As a plus size babe, I’m ecstatic that this trend is one for the big girls too!
Because let’s be real, you know how this usually goes. A trend takes over your feed, you fall head over heels for a piece, and then the size range stops at an XL. Every. Single. Season. So when a trend actually shows up in our sizes (and shows up well), you better believe I’m going to shout about it. Speaking of big girls, Emma Arletta, who coined “Big Girls,” and Gia IRL just dropped one of the coolest collections for us plus size babes, and it includes zebra printed pieces! Anyways, enough yapping (well, typing) about my excitement for zebra print. Let’s get into the best plus size finds to have you inspired to wear cool af pieces this fall.
1 | J.Crew 2026 Barn Jacket™ In Denim

In case you were wondering: barn jackets are still in for this fall, and as luck would have it, I got my hands on this stellar barn jacket from J.Crew that makes me so freaking excited. It’s perfectly oversized and looks good with jeans, dresses, and everything in between. And since J.Crew NEVER shows us what their pieces look like on plus size bodies, I had to do it for you… Just know this jacket is really good and exactly what I want to wear into fall.
Sizing notes: I’m wearing the 2x and this is a super oversized fit, and you can certainly size down one to two sizes.
2 | GIA/irl Zoe Top & Skirt
Remember when I said all I want to wear is zebra all fall?! Well I’m not kidding… I want zebra print shoes, zebra dresses and zebra skirts… I WANT them all! At the very top of the list for me is this zebra print top and matching skirt from Gia IRL. They’re chic, versatile enough to wear together or separately, and they give me all the cool girl vibes I crave year round.
3 | Dolce Vita Brion Extra Wide Calf Boots
If I’m being totally honest, Dolce Vita’s extra wide calf boots didn’t wow me compared to past seasons. That said, they do make the absolute best boots for wide calf and extended wide calves, and these boots are timeless. They are the kind of boots that will live in your closet forever.
4 | ARRANGE Curve Alva Folded Detail Wide Leg Pants
Ever since I visited Seoul, I’ve been wanting to try a pair of pleated pants! I saw countless babes rocking them, and thought they were soooo cool! It’s pretty rare to see a pair of pants like these, and I’m genuinely so curious if they will work for the babes who are ultra curvaceous like me.
5 | Eloquii Asymmetric Layered Knit Top
Because I love leaning into asymmetrical patterns, I’d pair those pants I just mentioned with this top. I just love a basic top that feels interesting and different, and this top is exactly that!
6 | Flying Monkey Leopard Print Wide Leg Jeans
Clearly I’ve got a thing for animal prints right now, but can you blame me?! The animal prints for the big girls are really good right now. And that includes these jeans from Flying Monkey. Which IMO is a super under the radar denim brand for plus size babes. I own several pairs of these jeans and just know the fit is always spot on!
7 | Barbour Audrey Check Showerproof Hooded Bomber Jacket
I rarely ever find cool raincoats in plus size. I’m a major fan of Barbour, but typically their more trendy styles are only available in straight sizes, and this jacket was such a surprise to find! I love everything about it, and think it would look stellar with all the basics I love to wear in fall and winter.
8 | By Anthropologie Reverie Lace Trim Pants
I am a sucker for a good pair of pants, and these lace trim pants are so fkn cool! I love the barrel style paired with the lace trim. Gahhh they are so freaking good, and I will be ordering asap. Here’s to hoping that they have that effortless drape on me like they do the model. Oh, and they come in 10 different color ways.
