Gifting Inspo For Those Who Love a Little #PopOfRed

There’s just something about the color red that makes me swoon.

Red is romantic, it feels festive, and it’s a beautiful color against a backdrop of white snow for the winter months. I am most drawn to the crimson hues every fall and winter season, scooping up a new red sweater and little accessories when I find them to add to my collection.

But searching by color is also a really fun way to shop for those on your gift list this holiday season.

Pop of Red: 17 Gift Ideas In This Season’s “It” Color

Thanks to this color being hot and heavy on recent trends list (search “pop of red” on TikTok for some fun inspiration), shades of red are extra exciting to shop for at the moment. As I was hunting down all the pretty little red things while doing my own shopping, I couldn’t help but round up my sweetest finds to share with you, too!

This hat went straight into my own cart. I can’t wait to wear this with an all neutral outfit…and adding a matching red lipstick could be epic, too.

2| Sézane Gaspard Cardigan

Sézane Gaspard Cardigan

No one makes a gorgeous sweater quite like Sezane, and this one in particular has already once completely sold out (and then, thankfully, restocked). One perusal through fashion TikTok and you’ll spot this sweater in multiple hues, all with glowing reviews.

3| Anthropologie Southwestern Agate Drop Earrings

Anthropologie Drop Earrings

Jewelry is a fun way to add a pop of color and texture, especially if you (or the person you’re shopping for) maintain a pretty minimal, neutral wardrobe. These earrings from Anthropologie have an oversized shape that would be an amazing statement maker.

4| Gucci Sheer Lipstick

Gucci Sheer Lipstick

If you’re looking for a small but thoughtful gift, go for a luxe lipstick. This one from Gucci not only comes in the most gorgeous packaging I’ve ever seen a lipstick be in, but it’s a sheer application that puts a lot less pressure on choosing a color. I personally own and love this shade.

5| Boulangerie Candle

A little vanilla, a little cinnamon, a whole lotta yum. Nothing more needs to be said.

6| adidas Samba OG Shoes

Sambas have proven themselves to be one of the “it” sneakers to get your hands on. While the classic white and black colors are easy to wear, the pop of red adds a unique touch that is a lot more fun to wear.

7| ‘Wear It Well’ by Allison Bornstein

‘Wear It Well’ by Allison Bornstein

Allison Bornstein is one of my favorite stylists and favorite follows on social media. When she announced she was writing a book I immediately put it on my wishlist. This would be an amazing gift for both the person who loves fashion and the person who is trying to love their wardrobe a little more. It also makes for a beautiful coffee table book, too.

8| Monogram Wrap Journal

Monogram Wrap Journal

Monogram gifts are so fun to give, and this journal would be perfect for anyone. If you’re more of an organized brain, you can grab a monogram day planner, too.

9| We The Free Moxie Barrel Jeans

We The Free Moxie Barrel Jeans

So many of us here at TME love Free People’s original Moxie Barrel Jeans – they’re fun, funky, and a super fresh item to add to your wardrobe. But this gorgeous flocked velvet version would be a stunning statement piece for holiday parties.

10| J.Crew Velvet Bow Clip

J.Crew Velvet Bow Clip

I’m obsessed with hair accessories right now, and the latest item on my list is a bow clip, thanks to this pretty little velvet bow from J.Crew – no longer reserved for just young girls. You can find more shapes (longer ribbon, thinner ties, etc) over on Amazon, too. A pop of red doesn’t get much easier than that.

11| Kaase Atelier Mug

Kaase Atelier Mug

I mean, this is the cutest little mug I’ve ever seen. Gift this to your friend who loves to ski, or add it to your own coffee station for something new to sip out of this winter.

12| Skims Pajama Set

Skims Pajama Set

This ribbed pajama set from Skims is my top recommendation for tall women looking for pj’s. The pants and arms are incredibly long, even on my own body, which hovers just under 5’10”. They are well made, super cozy, and after a year+ of wearing and washing, look good as new (and I own the color white, which is saying something).

13| Free People Hit The Slopes Fleece Jacket

Free People Hit The Slopes Fleece Jacket

This fleece jacket is easily one of my favorite winter wardrobe staples and has been for many years. The jacket is just the right amount of boxy and oversized, is thick and warm, and has a handful of very useful pockets.

14| Birkenstock Arizona Shearling Sandals

Our favorite cozy Birkenstock sandals got a colorful upgrade this year. Naturally, this deep crimson red had me clicking back multiple times to get a glimpse – they’re so fun.

15| By Anthropologie Opaque Tights

By Anthropologie Opaque Tights

Colorful tights are a trending item on social media right now, and a red pair would be perfectly festive to wear to a party. Personally, I’d pull them on underneath a neutral, loose-fitting sweater dress and slip into some ballet flats (maybe even adding that J.Crew bow to my hair, too).

16| Anthropologie Checkered Scarf

Anthropologie Checkered Scarf

Another great way to spice up a neutral wardrobe in the wintertime is with a fun scarf. A checkered print scarf already sounds like a great option, but make it red?! Amazing. I love how this specific checkered print has varying sized squares and contrasting stripes.

17| Free People Chamomile Cardigan

Free People Chamomile Cardigan

The cardigan that’s been on TME’s bestselling list was recently launched in this dusty red and I love how it looks layered over a simple white tee on the model. The best part of this cardigan is that it’s actually soft sweatshirt material instead of the classic knit you typically find cardigans in, making it not only unique but lounge-worthy for days on end!

Happy Holidays! (Now go get yourself a little Pop of Red, too.)

Let’s be friends on Instagram! Sharing life from a California beach town, daily style & beauty faves, and never ending Gilmore Girl binge-athons – all with a good dose of adorable toddler content, too.

This one’s for the Pinners…
