Quince summer sandals are being wildly hyped everywhere I turn. Especially the leather sandals that look strikingly similar to styles from far more expensive designer brands.
So…in an attempt to see whether these budget-friendly, designer-inspired, leather sandals under $100 actually live up to their hype, I ordered ALL of Quince’s everyday summer sandals (and one pair of their leather huarache flats) to see how they look in real life and, more importantly, how they feel on my very picky feet.
Some I loved. Some I hated.
Per usual in my shoe reviews, below you’ll find selfies, my overall takeaway, pros, cons, fit notes, and all the nitty-gritty details on each pair.
5 Quick Takeaways From My Quince Sandals Try-On

- The Platform Slides were a HUGE standout…comfortable, luxe, and quite impressive for the Quince price point.
- The leather quality on most (but not all) of Quince’s leather sandals was disappointing.
- These minimalist leather flip flops are chic summer perfection…but my picky feet hated them.
- Biggest surprise? Loving these classic closed-toe summer shoes.
- The sizing, width, and fit were all over the place. Definitely read my fit notes before ordering.
The Best Quince Leather Sandals I Tried: 2026
After trying all of the Quince leather everyday sandal styles, these are the sandals that stood out most for comfort, quality, and everyday wear. Note, though, that I do have wide-ish feet and the platforms were a wider fit than the similar leather flat slides.

Quince Leather Sandals Review 2026: Comfort, Fit & Sizing Notes
If you have picky feet, care about comfort, or struggle finding stylish walkable summer sandals under $100, I’m hoping this review helps narrow things down a bit.
1. Italian Leather Platform Slide Sandal
Italian Leather Platform Slide Sandal
PRICE: $90
COLORS: Cashew (shown), Black (shown), & Cognac
FIT: Runs big (wearing my typical sandal size 7 and I’m keeping them, but they’re a little long); they’re on the wider side for slides (worked especially well for my wide-ish foot); the regular Italian Leather slide runs narrower.
PROS: Super soft luxe-feeling buttery leather; elevated minimalist chic look; cushiony comfortable footbed; love the way they look with dresses, jeans, pants, and easy vacation outfits; beautiful design with matching upper, footbed, and platform giving these a designer feel; very similar aesthetic to Beek sandals; looked noticeably more expensive than most of the other Quince sandals; footbed fit my wider foot better than some of the other sandals; beautiful easy-to-wear neutral colorways.
CONS: Similar to other slide sandals (in general) in that if you struggle walking in Birkenstock Madrids or other slide sandals, these may feel similarly difficult to keep secure; runs wide (if you have a narrow foot).

MY TAKEAWAY: My favorite pair of Quince leather sandals by far! I’m keeping two colors. These genuinely look far more expensive than their Quince price tag, the buttery-soft leather immediately stood out as more elevated than many of the other styles, and my picky feet were happy with the comfort.
2. Quince 100% Leather Huarache Flat

Quince 100% Leather Huarache Flat
PRICE: $72
COLORS: Cashew (shown), Brandy, & Black
FIT: Runs big; the soft heel padding helped compensate for the extra length, though.
PROS: Great closed-toe summer shoe option; nice cushioned footbed; thinner leather straps felt softer and more flexible than some of the other Quince leather summer shoes; plenty of give while walking; would be a nice vacation shoe if you want something closed-toe; soft suede heel lining with a built-in heel pad prevented rubbing even though they ran slightly big on me; easy casual styling; beautiful easy-to-wear neutral colorways.
CONS: Leather didn’t feel especially luxe or buttery-soft like the Quince slides (but still felt really good for the price); fit big on me.
Quince 100% Leather Huarache Flat
dress (s) | similar | bag | denim (27) |tank (s) | bag
MY TAKEAWAY: Surprise win. A great closed-toe (with cushion) summer shoe option. The woven leather looked structured (and was not buttery soft), but the thinner straps made the leather feel softer and easier to wear than some of the other Quince sandals.
3. Italian Leather Slide Sandal

PRICE: $72
COLORS: Cashew (shown); Cognac, Black, & Bone
FIT: True to size once my feet adjusted into the shape of the sandal; narrower than the platform slide.
PROS: Buttery-soft leather; padded footbed; one of the chicest minimalist leather sandals of the bunch; love the polished squared-off shape and luxe detailing; higher quality feel than some of the other Quince sandals; similar design to Tory Burch slides (without the branding); comfortable once my feet settled into the sandal; beautiful easy-to-wear neutral colorways.
CONS: No real arch support; very flat sandal; initially felt slightly awkward to walk in for the first minute until my foot slid in further and adjusted to the shape; runs narrower than the platform slide (but not so narrow that my wide-ish feet couldn’t wear them).
Italian Leather Slide Sandal

MY TAKEAWAY: If you like a flat sandal, this is the most elevated-feeling and comfortable flat pair I tried from Quince. Soft leather, a chic minimalist vibe, and more comfortable and walkable than the other flat sandals (but not as comfortable as the platform slides).
4. Italian Leather Platform Sandal
Italian Leather Platform Sandal
PRICE: $72
COLORS: Cashew (shown), Bone, & Black
FIT: Length true to size; slightly narrow footbed for me; top straps not adjustable, but heel strap is.
PROS: Cushioned, comfortable supportive footbed; sturdy stable feel; straps didn’t rub or create any pressure points; practical everyday walkable sandal option; beautiful easy-to-wear neutral colorways.
CONS: Footbed felt narrow; sides of my feet slightly spilled over the edges; leather wasn’t especially buttery-soft (like the slides).

MY TAKEAWAY: Cute, sturdy, and practical. These felt very wearable and walkable, though the footbed ran slightly narrow on me. Could be a candidate for a flat, tan walking sandal for Europe.
5. Italian Leather Lug Sole Fisherman Sandal

Italian Leather Lug Sole Fisherman Sandal
PRICE: $90
COLORS: Cashew (shown), Black, & Bone
FIT: Comfortable true-to-size fit for me.
PROS: Cushioned footbed; comfortable supportive feel; no rubbing or pressure points; chunky lug sole gives a substantial, more statement-making, heavier look to simple outfits; worked especially well with casual outfits and wider-leg silhouettes; definitely designer-inspired fisherman sandal vibe; very similar vibe to the Freda Salvador sandals.
CONS: Leather didn’t look or feel especially luxe; had more of a synthetic-ish, lower-quality leather feel.
Italian Leather Lug Sole Fisherman Sandal
dress (s) | similar | bag | denim (27) |tank (s) | bag
MY TAKEAWAY: These felt supportive and walkable, and the chunky lug sole gave simple outfits some “oomph”, but leather didn’t look or feel especially luxe.
6. Nappa Leather Double Buckle Slide
Nappa Leather Double Buckle Slide
PRICE: $72
COLORS: Brown (shown), Black, & Bone
FIT: Comfortable true-to-size fit for me with adjustable straps for better fit.
PROS: Extremely (like wildly) soft cushioned footbed; squishy comfort without feeling unstable; no rubbing from the leather straps.
CONS: Leather looked and felt lower quality to me than Birkenstock Arizonas; doesn’t offer true Birkenstock-level arch support; I like Birkenstock quality leather, colorways, styles, and buckles way way WAY more than these (my review of Birks here and here); the ultra-cushioned footbed gave me pause (it was pretty nice), but no way I’d switch to these over Birkenstocks.
Nappa Leather Double Buckle Slide
dress (s) | similar | bag | denim (27) |tank (s) | bag
MY TAKEAWAY: I fully expected to “completely bash” these compared to Birkenstocks (and they are in NO way –style or quality-wise– as good as Birkenstocks)…but the wildly cushioned soft footbed did give me pause. Still a no overall for me, though.
7. Italian Leather Flip Flops
PRICE: $50
COLORS: Cashew (shown) & Black
FIT: On the narrower side (my foot hung over the edge of the sides a bit); toe post didn’t work well for my feet (very uncomfortable).
PROS: Really chic minimal elegant design; luxe-looking leather; polished elevated flip flop aesthetic; budget-friendly(for leather).
CONS: Too flat for my feet; not enough cushion in the footbed; uncomfortable toe post while walking; not comfortable at ALL.
Italian Leather Flip Flops
dress (s) | similar | bag | denim (27) |tank (s) | bag
MY TAKEAWAY: Chic flip flops…but unfortunately not at all comfortable or walkable for my feet. Definite no.
8. Italian Leather Cutout Slide Sandal
Italian Leather Cutout Slide Sandal
PRICE: $62
COLORS: Cognac (shown); Black, Bone, & Shell Pink
FIT: Upper felt more restrictive than the other sandals on my feet; on the narrower side.
PROS: Elevated, dressier feel; elegant cutout design; easy option for summer dinners or more polished outfits.
CONS: Flat firm non-cushioned footbed; leather felt stiff; pressure across the top of my foot and toes while walking; worried about hotspots and rubbing; uncomfortable.
Italian Leather Cutout Slide Sandal
dress (s) | similar | bag | denim (27) |tank (s) | bag
MY TAKEAWAY: A prettier dressier leather sandal option, but nowhere near comfortable enough for my feet…a definite no.
And there you have it. I’m not giving as much “positive hype” on these Quince leather summer sandals as the rest of the internet (and all the glowing Quince reviews on their website), but definitely a few options that I was pleasantly surprised (and even shocked) by.
And if you have more questions on Quince quality and if various Quince pieces are worth the hype, check out my Quince Summer Dresses Review here (I tried 20+ and some I liked, some I didn’t); Laura’s Quince swimsuit post or jeans post here; as well as the TME Quince What To Buy & What To Skip Post here.
Hope this review and try-on helps. Everyone’s feet are so very different, and I know we all look for different qualities and features in comfortable and walkable summer sandals…especially those of us with picky feet.
So if you’ve tried Quince sandals this summer, it’d be helpful to hear which styles worked for you (or didn’t) and why. Please share in the comments below…I love the ongoing conversations with you all about walkable and comfortable summer sandals and shoes.
