Ok…who else has totally fallen in love with Quince even more lately? I’ve been covering their clothing for years now (and their bags, too!) and it was time to try out their extensive collection of linen clothing.
There’s no fabric (ok maybe cotton gauze, but still) that I love wearing more in summer than linen. And you know some linen blends can be FINE but not ah-mazing. So I wanted to see if Quince linen lives up to the hype…and yep. YEP. Fabric is good. I recently bought a set of their linen sheets (in Dusty Mauve, I die) and those are so good, too. (Not AS luxurious as Two Fold Co-op’s linen sheets but still pretty dang good.)
Pssst…if you want our master list of what to buy (and skip!) at Quince, find it here.
Quince Linen Clothing: A Try-On
So a try-on of my favorite Quince linen selections from their line was in order. And it did not disappoint. Sure there were a couple of misses that didn’t fit me quite right, but overall, this was a really worthwhile effort.
Dress (M)
I want so many pieces! (And btw, this is not sponsored…I just love their price point and the fact that they offer 100% linen items AND some of the styles are so freaking cute.)
Let’s get to it then. While a big try-on is a lot of work, I actually wound up having fun with this one. It got me in the mood for warmer weather (which we recently got a taste of but then it cooled down again.) Linen is just such a phenomenal fabric for summer and late spring and I’m glad I now know Quince is a very good place to source linen clothing options.
1 | Quince European Linen Short Sleeve Shirt
Shirt (M) | Jeans | Similar Slides
Details: I adore this shirt. It’s kind of a camp shirt style and has all the right elements. The linen is quality but not too heavy, the cut is perfect here and I am a sucker for a good black pinstripe, always.
Fit Notes: This shirt looks similar to the one you’ll see in the shorts pj set below, but I like the cut here better on my shorter frame…shorter boxy length, without being cropped. Fit is true to size and didn’t pull at the bust for me which sometimes happens with button-downs. Wearing a M.
2 | Quince Scoop Neck Linen Midi Dress
Details: I love this dress so much! I felt great in it and the shape is just really lovely for my body type (straighter through the midsection, strong butt and thighs…athletic-type build and shorter waist) AND it has pockets, friends. Me and dresses have a tough time getting along but this will be my new go-to.
Fit Notes: True to size and again just skimmed with a little room over my butt and hips which can sometimes pull for me in dresses and pants without stretch. TTS.
3 | Quince European Linen Shorts Pajama Set
PJ Set (M) | Sneakers | Similar Bag
Details: This is so cute and totally wearable beyond just for pajamas. I adore this set and love that it’s so versatile.
Fit Notes: TTS with room in the hips/butt and doesn’t pull across the chest. These are two common issues I have with pjs and sets and pull-on style/drawstring pants. LOVE this set.
4 | Quince Linen Fitted Tank + Pants
Tank (M) | Pants (M) | Sandals | Bag
Details: This was an unexpected top find. I didn’t think this set would work well on me and while the top is a little bit long, I freaking love this. It is even better in person than it photographs and the red is so fun. The back has ruching around the zipper and the zipper zips up instead of down, making it much easier to get on yourself! The straps are a little bit long for me but that’s an easy fix, and they do have a couple of button hole options for those with longer torsos.
Fit Notes: TTS with a little bit of room in the pants which I often have trouble with. The top is fitted but with the back ruching is so comfortable, even on this gal who has a wide ribcage and trouble fitting into tops like this.
5 | Quince Linen Structured Blazer
Details: This structured blazer is great and I adore anything linen + pinstripes. This runs a little more fitted than the other pieces but for that reason would be great for the office.
Fit Notes: Fits true to size here, but if you run larger in the shoulders you might consider going up. Though linen will give a bit. Cotton lined so that will give with wear, too, unlike having a poly lining, etc.
6 | Quince Linen Swing Dress
Details: This was so cute on the model that I had to try and while I think with these sandals it’s not as ‘me’ as I’d like, I do love the dress. It would be breezy and awesome for hot days. It’s so well made and has structure in the bottom hem too though so it feels like it will stay put when you move if that makes sense…it’s not too breezy lol.
Fit Notes: True to size and didn’t pull at the bust buttons (I have a 34DD for reference.)
7 | Quince Linen Short Sleeve Shirt + Wide Leg Pants
Top (M) | Pants (M) | Sandals | Bag
Details: These are cute if you need a wide leg pant, but they just didn’t wow me as much as some of the above pieces. And I would have preferred the linen short sleeve shirt (which is boxier and shorter) with them rather than the pj top I popped on here (longer in the back and sleeves.) I grabbed this navy though since I ordered the other top in stripe and stripes on stripes here would have been too much.
Fit Notes: True to size and fit well. I ‘think’ this is the 28″ length but gosh the receipts don’t say what length I ordered. It could be the 30″ since I have platforms on. Gahh sorry friends. Lots going on. I’m 5’4″ in height though.
8 | Quince Linen Fit & Flare Midi Dress
Details: This is so cute, eh? Yeah, it didn’t zip over my ribcage. This has been a forever problem for me since like high school. SO annoying. BUT, if you like Reformation’s Everett dress give this a try.
Fit Notes: Too tight around the ribcage for me, but sizing up would be too big elsewhere. Better for more hourglass figures or slim ribcages.
Come on lovely warm weather because we are ready with options now. Have you tried any Quince pieces I missed that you’ve loved? Let me know in the comments as always.

L
