Rag & Bone’s Featherweight Jeans Feel Like PJs

I know I’ve been a reluctant fan of the whole baggy-jean-trend thing, but one feel of Rag & Bone’s Featherweight jeans and I was like yessssssssss. I mean…before I even put them on, I was crossing my fingers they would fit because of that insanely soft fabric. Honestly, Rag & Bone’s Featherweight fabric is nothing short of amazing. I first came across this deliciously soft, lightweight material when searching for a denim maxi this fall and immediately fell in love… so when I came across that same fabric in a baggy jean version?

I was sold.

What’s special about this featherweight fabric is the Tencel lyocell fabric the cotton is blended with. I’ve been obsessed with Tencel since first discovering it back in 2020 (thanks, J.Crew!). It’s sustainable, and such a soft material that anytime I see a piece is made from it, I know I’m going to love it. (Case in point? This denim jacket that I wore with all the things last spring and summer.) These jeans are 61% cotton and 39% Lyocell, so although they aren’t stretchy, they’re super soft and lightweight and incredibly comfortable.

And the fit? Is 100% on point. They look a lot different on me than on the model, but they fit so well. Instead of being super baggy, the waistband actually highlights my waist and fits over my booty. I first wore them solely with 3″ heels, but wanted to cut them to be able to pair them with sneakers. And because that raw hem makes it so easy, I literally just took scissors to the bottoms and cut them off.

I actually think I cut them a little too short (I have no patience–lesson learned), but they still work with all of my sneakers and will definitely work with my flat flip flops or Birks this summer (or whenever the weather gets warm enough). And they’re the perfect jeans for spring and summer because they’re so lightweight and breathable.

And Nike Dunks…they’re everywhere right now, and I get it. Super, insanely comfortable, I literally wore these without socks and had zero issues. You know I love my heels, but sneakers are my go-to for walking around the city (which is also why I cut these jeans!).

Ooh and this bag! It’s even better in person than I thought it would be. I love the accent of the braided strap (that can come completely off if you want it to), and the fact that the double zipper allows it to be opened from either end. The adjustable strap makes it easy to wear over either shoulder, across your chest or back, or as a belt bag.

It’s roomy enough to hold everything I need but still lays flat against the body. On the inside there’s an inner zip pocket with card holder slots as well as a key holder – and the extra zipper pocket on the back is perfect to stash my phone for easy access. Oh and the color?? LOVE. (It also comes in brown or pink as well!) At under $50, this was such a good find!

Cheers to finding jeans that are cute and comfy!

XOXO,

Scotti
