It’s The Spring Event, Shopbop’s pop-up sale! Per usual, there’s a sliding scale, which means that the more you spend, the higher the discount (up to 25% off your entire cart). The only catch is that the items must be marked as “Key Style” pieces, otherwise the discount doesn’t apply.
I primarily use this sale to stock up on all of my most-worn pieces: jeans, shoes, bags…as well as pick up a few outfit-making items I’ve been eyeing up.
Happily, several of my longtime favorite pieces are currently part of this sale, soooo….
The Best Of The Spring Event Shopbop Pop-Up Sale (Based On What I Already Own & Love)
1. An Outfit-Making Tee, Bag & Boots You’ll Wear For YEARS
This Anine Bing graphic tee is annoyingly perfect (I’m wearing size small for reference), Clare V’s little crossbody is just the thing to throw on and go (my colorway is sold out, but I’m picking up the tan, and the black has just been reissued in gorg spring colors), and these boots? Classic badass Docs…yet feminine. They’re Doc Marten Leona boots, and I’ll be wearing them for years.
ON SALE: Anine Bing tee (small, for reference) | Clare V. bag (in updated colors for Spring…and also in tan) | Doc Marten Leona boots
2. These White Denim Shorts
I love my [BLANKNYC] white denim shorts. They’re thick (NOT see-through), yet stretchy and comfortable. They’re not horribly low-rise, but neither are they high-rise (which is good when it’s really, really hot). They’re just classic and perfect, and I’ve been wearing them for years.
Also try? These white PAIGE utility denim shorts. A little higher rise, a little longer leg, but the utility detail keeps them from being too mumsy or overly preppy.
ON SALE: Cami NYC racer-back silk cami (xs for reference) | [BLANKNYC] denim shorts (size up by one!!)
3. Or These Perfectly Faded Denim Shorts
I discovered these AGoldE Parker denim shorts last summer and they quickly became my favorites. They have a nice high rise and the most perfectly faded blue wash. It’s so good, they brought back the exact wash for this year, too.
Also try? This darker wash, this light (but not distressed) wash), or oooo…white.
ON SALE: AGoldE Parker shorts (26) | similar re/done tee | similar clog sandals
4. Let’s Not Forget This Silk Cami
This 100% silk cami from Cami NYC is still — years later — one of my most-worn tops, especially in the summer. Silk is one of the most comfortable fabrics in the heat, so much so that I have trouble reaching for anything else. I wash mine in the washing machine, and lay flat to dry. Washing it like this takes away the shine of the fabric, but I find the resulting look more wearable for day. I have both the black and the navy…but the black is definitely the one I wear the most often. I’ll be snapping up another black one NOW (and finally — since the black seems to sell out quickly during these sales. I’ve never been quick enough, darn it.).
ON SALE: Cami NYC silk cami
5. A Packable Bag & Walkable Heels
As much as I love a structured straw bag, last summer I discovered Clare V’s petite sandy tote and have never looked back. It lays flat (so it easily fits into a suitcase), and is just the right size to hold my wallet, phone, sunglasses, sunscreen, a map and Italian phrasebook. The Loeffler Randall mules only look fancy (they actually have a really walkable heel).
Also try? Clare V also makes a larger version of this bag, which I’m going to grab in the lighter rope color.

ON SALE: Clare V Petite Sandy Tote | Loeffler Randall mules (only in gold)
6. Cute Summer Jeans & Wear-With-Everything Mules
I picked up these slides in Germany when my luggage was lost…and have been wearing them ever since. They just go with…literally everything. Sam Edelman’s slides look almost identical and have great reviews. (I recommend the tan or the croc.) And if you haven’t yet tried MOTHER Denim’s Tomcat jeans, they’re such a solid choice. High rise, but not too high…they’re like a more modern boyfriend jean.
Also try? Mother Denim’s Tomcats with more distressing, and a cute little embroidered rainbow on the pocket.
ON SALE: Mother Denim Tomcat jeans | similar slides
7. And Finally…Weitzman’s Flat OTK Boots
Stuart Weitzman’s OTK boots (the flat ones), have been my most-worn boots every winter for YEARS. I talked more about why in our latest article on The Best Boots To Wear With Skinny Jeans This Winter. So. If you’ve been tempted to splurge, both the black and the dark gray are in stock AND (finally!!) included in this sale.

ON SALE: Theory wool topper (in gray or cream) | boots
