Amazon Prime Day: Best Beauty Deals
Shana says: My very favorite hairspray. Provides just a bit of hold, but still lets you run your fingers through your hair. Extra 30% off at checkout.
Shana says: Amber Hunter got me hooked on this stuff, and I’m obsessed. You can use it on wet or dry hair — it’s amazing for styling. Extra 30% off at checkout.
Shana says: Currently my fav dry shampoo. Extra 30% off at checkout.
Linzi says: Shana got me hooked on everything Oribe, but it’s pricey, so I’m always looking for their products on sale. This spray is great if my curls are too soft and “boingy” and need more texture.
Shana says: I’ve been mixing this into my morning coffee for the last year or so and I swear it helps keep the wrinkles at bay. Collagen applied to your skin doesn’t have much benefit, but drinking it is supposed to help with both skin firmness AND keeping your joints supple. It’s tasteless, and I swear by the stuff. (Get the giant container — the sale is really good.)
Shana says: I LOVE my silk pillowcases — another way to keep wrinkles at bay, and reduce hair frizz — but the Slip ones I swear by are almost $100 each!! The price on this one — especially on Prime Day sale — is insane. Definitely worth a try.
Linzi Says: You guys know my picky, picky feet SWEAR by these guys. I put them in any shoe I can, and they make a HUGE difference in the way my body feels (my husband wears them too).
Kat says: Pacifica has been a go-to clean brand for me for many years and their products are affordable, too!
Em says: I have been hunting for this style of sunglasses for a while now — tortoiseshell, more androgynous and boxy without being…too angular — and with 20% off the list price, this is probably a decent time to give them a go.
Amazon Prime Day: Best Tops and Sweaters
Laura says: I wear these long amazing cardis as robes right now, but they also look rad over cropped jeans with high tops for a sporty comfy casj look. Essentially, I need all the long cardigans to get through this winter.
Scotti says: Splendid fabrics are the best–so soft, warm and they wash really well. This is a great throw-on-and-go piece.
Shana says: For me, it’s all about the thumbholes.
Shana says: I’ll never not love oversized cashmere turtlenecks. No brainer.
Shana says: I’m always on the hunt for something both sexy and warm (the curse of a winter birthday). This is perfect.
Shana says: I appreciate the aggressiveness of the v-neckline here. So good.
Shana says: I’ve been eyeing up this PAIGE sweater for years. The soft oatmeal gets me.
Laura says: This cute under $30 sweater reminds me of a higher end one I have and love! It kinda acts like a graphic sweatshirt, but looks a little more chic. So cute!
Laura says: I’m not always an off-the-shoulder gal, but I recently got a new tattoo, so now the world of Scotti’s favorite tops has opened up to me! She always looks adorable with a lacy bralette peeking out and nobody has time for strapless bras, so I’ll go that route, too. This one is super-cute and the style I usually wear.
Kat says: This top has the perfect worn-in feel and a slight crop.
Amazon Prime Day: Best Jeans on Sale
Shana says: I passed these by at the Nordstrom Anni sale and have regretted it ever since. Super-high, super-comfortable, and sustainable.
I have a pair of wedgies that, before getting pregnant, were my go-to jeans. It’s also one of the pairs of jeans I’ve been asked about the most. When I saw these other colors on today’s sale, I fell in love! The Malbec would be perfect for the holidays.
Cams says: I’d 100% wear these light pink utility pants in the cooler seasons! I have tried out several of Daily Ritual’s pieces and I am sold on them. They are incredible basics at a great price, fit TTS.
Amazon Prime Day: Best Loungewear & Athleisure
Scotti says: Bralettes are life right now. I just can’t with seriously structured bras…this one comes in a bunch of colors, looks insanely comfortable, and I wouldn’t mind it peeking out from a slouchy sweater.
I own these in a few colors and — outside of my expanding 3rd trimester season — they’re on regular rotation. So comfortable under sweatshirts and for lazy days!
Scotti says: These high-waisted leggings have great reviews, come in a TON of colors and in sizes xs-3x. This blackberry color is awesome.
Em says: These claim to be buttery soft, super-lightweight and yet not at all see-through — and I’m still a sucker for camo. (Solid colors available, too.) Super well-rated.
Amy says: These are on deck for after giving birth! I love a good high-waisted legging — these have great reviews and the color “coffee” is SO my color palette right now!
Shana says: Super short bike shorts have been my jam lately…and I love this print. (Also in a ton of other colors, too.) Really solid reviews, as well.
Em says: I wore an almost-identical jumpsuit yesterday for a walk through town and was just telling Chris I could probably buy a few more and ditch my remaining wardrobe. (Kidding…kinda.) Comfy, easy. Under $20.
Kat says: The quality is amazing, and I love that it can transition from lounging around to Zoom calls.
Linzi Says: My husband’s new favorite brand and style of undershirt. 100% cotton. Some sets/color combos are part of Prime Day and some aren’t, but the price is worth clicking through a bit to find the right size/combo that’s on sale.
Shana says: Annoyingly, these are the only thing my boys want to wear right now.
Amazon Prime Day: Jackets & Coats
Cams says: I have been looking for an affordable tailored coat — it’s one of those things that I will literally wear with everything: leggings, any style of jean, trousers (faux leather, hello!), skirts, dresses. BTW: it comes in black, grey, navy blue and camel, and I’m deciding between the navy and the grey.
Laura says: Woah this is a cute cut for a utility jacket. The color, the length, the shape, the boxy fit…modern and cool. It comes in a great indigo, washed tan, black and gray, too. I recently got my husband some Goodthreads pants and he loves them! We were both impressed with the quality and the price point!
Shana says: The company behind the now-infamous Amazon coat is at it again…and I love all of the chic details. Comes in a bunch of chic colors, but I love the take on a not-boring black puffer.
Shana says: If you are looking for a statement coat to rock the outdoor gatherings this year…I really love this one.
Shana says: Oooo….like a wrap cardigan, but a puffer!!!!! Talk about rocking the playground.
Shana says: I’m always on the hunt for a cute (and faux) sherpa coat…and this one looks so cozy and chic.
Em says: My beloved Levi’s Trucker Jacket is one of the most reached for pieces in my closet, but I sometimes wish it were cozier. Enter: the sherpa-lined version. (P.S. The original, unlined trucker jacket is in the sale, too! Loving this washed black, especially, but there are more classic washes, too.)
Shana says: The guys’ Orolay coat has a rugged military vibe — I like it.
Shana says: Ahhh….the kids’ version of the Amazon coat is part of Prime Day and SO CUTE. Available in a bunch of colors, too.
Shana says: This is exactly the kind of jacket my boys like to wear – and the reviews are stellar.
Amazon Prime Day: Top Shoe & Boot Picks
Shana says: I have and LOVE these. Seriously comfortable, goes with — literally — everything, and has a slightly more feminine vibe than the traditional Doc Marten.
Shana says: We have a few readers from the great white North raving about Muk Luks. And I think these are legitimately cute! Picture with skinny jeans an a slouchy cable-knit sweater.
Shana says: I love the contrast trim, the sporty white bottom…and the reviews raving and raving about comfort. These feel so unexpected and fresh — especially with cropped, straight-leg jeans.
Shana says: I’ve been eyeing up these Sam Edelman boots. I love the broken-in vibes, higher shaft, walkable heel, and the rich brown that will go with everything (tans, chocolate browns, army greens, black). Also in black.
Shana says: Ecco boots are always so comfortable….and I especially love this color (the variation of tones makes them look much more luxe, too). The walkable heel and higher shaft means that they’ll go with more jean styles.
Shana says: There’s something about this pair that reminds me of Bottega Veneta’s black boots with the major platform (or maybe Clergerie) but in any case…they’re a fraction of the price.
Shana says: I remember Linzi talking about MIA clogs one day and thinking that they sounded perfect for me. (Lighter weight? More flexible? Can’t remember.) In any case…totally worth a shot.
Scotti says: You had me at memory foam footbed, but the rainbow quotes of love yourself and learn to love your mistakes are pretty awesome too.
Scotti says: Another memory foam footbed! One reviewer said these were like walking on air. I always want cute sneaks for walking and running and these sound like they’re crazy comfortable.
Kat says: These Adidas have such a classic look and they remind me of Stan smith sneaks with a twist.
Laura Says: I adore an open slipper most of the time until it gets really chilly. These look so soft and comfy and come in quite a few colors. They’d also make great gifts!
Amazon Prime Day Picks: Home & Luggage
Shana says: Gwen had picked up some snake plants for the office in these oven pots and they are SO pretty in person. I can’t decide between this one and the one that’s mostly white (click through to see)….
Shana says: I wanted a pretty turquoise hose that cost a million dollars…but after reading tons of reviews, Mike bought this one. And has LOVED it with a passion I find frightening.
Linzi Says: The price on this set is RIDICULOUSLY good, the reviews are great, and the color options are fantastic too. Win, Win, Win.
Amazon Prime Day Picks: Tech
Shana says: Mike really, really REALLY wants this camera. It’s mirrorless (so much smaller than our D850,) but will work with all of our Nikon lenses. It’s somewhat new, so I’m shocked to see it as part of Prime Day.
Shana says: We still swear by our Echo Show…primarily for chatting with my mom while I make dinner. Worth. Every. Penny. Great for learning the lyrics to our favorite songs and kitchen dance parties, too.
Shana says: This Kindle is probably the best value for the money. It’s the version we finally picked up for the kids (waterproof, too). I actually hate the Amazon’s Kids’ Kindle, as well as the Kindle Fire. I recommend this one over either of those.
Shana says: This is my favorite Kindle of all time. It feels the best in my hand, and is the easiest to read. That’s really the only difference between this and the Paperwhite…but if you are a big reader, it does make a difference.
Shana says: If the Airpods in the sale aren’t your thing…these work really, really well, and a super-comfortable to wear for long periods of time.
Em says: This is the best price I’ve seen for the 3-Qt (note: this is considered the “mini” size) — under $50. If you love the sound of the Instant Pot but aren’t big on batch cooking or leftovers, run, don’t walk. (Need recipes exclusively for the mini? Check out Dessert for Two, who has scaled a bunch of her faves down — otherwise, you can usually halve recipes; the Instant Pot is pretty dang forgiving.)
Amazon Prime Day Picks: Kids (Hello, holidays right around the corner)
Shana says: I’ve NEVER seen Magna-Tiles go on sale! Knock-offs? Yes. But the real deal? Not until now. These are — without exaggeration — one of the best toys of all time. My kids still use them (at ages 9 and 12). They’re my favorite thing to gift. And you really DO want the giant set.
Shana says: I love the added texture of these blocks — it gives another dimension to the play. And the building options are so good.
Shana says: I don’t typically LOVE plastic crap for kids…but I will admit that this little winner was played with for hours and hours and hours. And makes a great gift, too — the ‘wow’ factor is high. (For some reason I never quite understood. But there it is.)
Shana says: We never bought our kids the ‘big’ LEGO sets — so expensive! But always wanted one. The Prime Day price on this set is totally doable, tho.
Be sure to check back for more Prime Day picks coming soon!!
