The Shopbop Fall Event is a pregnant woman’s dream — well okay, it’s mine at least. There are so many good finds for both maternity pieces and non-maternity pieces that you can wear long after the bump!

My recipe for a good maternity wardrobe is this: a dash of comfy jumpsuits for lounging, one solid scoop of maternity pants and/or leggings, a few basic stretchy or flowy tops, a hefty pinch of sweaters and cardigans for layering, and a sprinkle of comfortable footwear.

Here are my picks for the perfect fall maternity wardrobe!

My recipe for a good maternity wardrobe = a dash of comfy loungewear, a scoop of maternity leggings & a sprinkle of comfortable footwear.

1 / Snakeskin Legging – Oh my word, if I wasn’t in the final countdown of my pregnancy, I would grab these in a heartbeat. The print is so loud that I would just pair it with a basic tee and a black boot. The boldness in these is EVERYTHING.

2 / Oversized V Neck Tee – This is such a good basic to have in a maternity wardrobe. It’s not maternity specific, but works great as the bump grows.

3 / Free People Sweatshirt – It’s always good to have a comfy sweatshirt to throw on for the lazy lounging days — and it could even be cute paired with the snakeskin legging and chucks if you’re feeling it!!

4 / Hatch Black Leggings – These are called “The Before, During, and After Legging,” which is an absolute dream when it comes to a maternity wardrobe! The more use you can get out of a good piece of clothing, the better.

6 / Henley Rib Nursing Tank – This looks amazing because it will stretch with you as your bump grows — but is also nursing-friendly with those buttons! Whoop!

7 / The Coco Coat – Fall in Michigan means the start of coat season! This one looks so cozy and since it’s maternity, it will fit to that bump shape without making you look extra large.

8 / Dr. Martens Boot – I love how these have a fuzzy lining — as the temperatures keep getting colder (at lease here in Michigan!) these are the perfect boots to have by the door for throwing on with any outfit and staying cozy.

9 / Knot Slub Sweater Dress – This is a non-maternity piece that works perfect when pregnant. The stretchy material shows off the bump and you’ll be wearing it long after the bump is gone, too!

10 / Tie Dye Tee – Free People is the most perfect place to shop for maternity when you don’t want maternity specific pieces. They are famous for that oversized fit, which is just what I love when I’m not pregnant — but everything fits when I AM pregnant!

11 / The Skinny Maternity Jean – I never knew how important a good pair of maternity jeans was until my 3rd trimester. It’s 100% worth it to spend money on a style and brand that you love — it makes all the difference in your wardrobe!
