Loft has always been one of our favorite destinations for great separates at great prices and over the last few years. Their brand Lou & Grey always sucks me in with their oh-so-casual-cool styling and vibe. I hadn’t tried any pieces from either line in a while, so I ordered up a few favs from the site to give a go.
Right now, Loft is offering 40% off your purchase with code GIFTITUP. Yay!
Sweaters, Pants, Lounge & Holiday:
Solid Fashion Finds At LOFT + Lou & Grey
Verdict: YES to all of it. First off, please get these slippers, currently on sale. I mean, what? I’ve owned two pairs of them, and they are literally the softest in this style I’ve ever found. SO good. (A great gift, too!) They also have all their sherpas on sale right now, too, and a page of cute gift combo ideas. Ooh, and I didn’t see this until now, but this gorg glam sequin top is just like the one we all loved last year that sold out!
The sweaters are seriously good, as well, and there are a few matching sets (pj’s & lounge) you’re gonna wanna live in this winter. There’s a cardigan not to miss and a great pair of pull-on wide leg pants (currently $18??!!) perfect for those who are still heading to an office, but comfy enough for those working from home. Oh! And a pair of chic leggings perfect for both situations, as well! I love that Loft pieces are offered in extended size ranges, too! They offer petite, tall and plus sizes in a bunch of their pieces.
While this is a bit smaller of a ‘haul’ than I would typically try on in-store, I think it helps narrow down to a few really solid items. Some are already selling quickly so let’s get to it! Right now, many pieces are on major sale!
1. The Sweaters
Ooh, currently $35! This was one of my favorite finds. The color I’m wearing here is tapenade. The structure of this sweater is much better in person than it looks online. Really quality feel to it, and what a gorgeous color.
This. I love. It feels like a handmade sweater (knitter here, so I can recognize the good ones!) I wound up keeping this classic-looking beauty, and it is really nice, warm and heavy. I’ll wear it almost like a jacket here in Portland. SO good. I did size down in this and was happy with that choice. If you want oversized and cozy stick with your regular size, but I tend to like less oversized for my shorter self.
So nice, I tried it twice! In ivory. I wound up keeping the green, but gah, this one is so good, too.
Sizes are going quickly, so grab this while you can! I’ll keep an eye out for restocks, but this cardi from Banana is similar and cute.
LOVE this one. If I wasn’t already heavy on sweaters I’d totally have kept this beauty. SO well-made and lovely. I’m a sucker for a good waffle stitch. It just adds such a pretty texture, and I love the sweatshirt/raglan details on this.
This coatigan is stunning. The wafflestitch is beautiful and the cut is so great. I just was on the fence about the collar. It looks too small! But I think I could get over that because the rest of it is so beautiful. If you don’t have a longer cardi then please get this. It’s the kind that could serve as a jacket itself. It has great structure and weight and is nice and warm. Love.
You know I’m usually down for a good animal print, but I just wasn’t feeling this one. It’s a high-low hem, but I think too long on me. It’s a nice thinner-but-still-warm weight that would be good for layering or for the office. Maybe best for those of you who are a little taller or have a longer torso!
2. The Pants
I don’t usually get excited about leggings unless they’re my favorite Beyond Yoga space-dyed pair for working out…but these are incredible and more of a lounge or wear-to-work option! They’re thick and flattering with a wide waistband. Plus, they have pockets! They give me a riding pant vibe without being too English countryside. This is how I’ll style them mostly this winter, but if I wear them out, I’ll throw on my Sorel Explorer Joan boots and my Everlane sleeping bag puffer or coatigan.
These are a great polyblend fabric that feels a bit like a crepe, but stretchy and easy. I’m wearing the regular length in a small here. I could have perhaps gone up to a medium for them to fit the bum a leetle bit better, but they didn’t feel tight. They come in petite and tall lengths and plus sizes, too, AND um what?! They’re now $18 with code GIFTITUP. Dang!
These are so comfy! I don’t love the wash (see the back,) and they’re almost sold out (but still available in curvy fit), so check these out instead in the same fit. They also come in a gray wash I’m definitely trying! Yay! They are a really solid comfy jean find, so I’m glad they’re still around in other colors. Some of the modern fits in certain washes also come in petite lengths, too, and their jeans sizes offered are more inclusive…also yay! Available in sizes 24-34.
3. Pajamas, Lounge & Holiday
These were one of the first things I added to cart. I mean, adorable! They look like an Anthro find or something that would be at a higher price point. They’re a soft rayon blend and very comfy. I cannot get over this print! They aren’t too fitted in the top, too, which I appreciate as some pj’s gape at the buttons for me.
OK, these slippers below, too. I have had at least two pairs of these over the last few years in a gray, and they are THE softest slipper like this I’ve found. Like, insanely soft. These would be a fabulous gift. They come in a gorgeous dark red and gray, too. Um, and they’re on sale now!!
Again, I’m heavy on lounge sets these days, but gosh, this one is good. The fit is perfect, and they’re super-soft without being thick like regular sweats. SO cute, too! Can’t recommend enough. I’d throw this cardigan on top for added warmth and cuteness.
Pretty, festive Zoom top alert! This is a nice thinner style sweatshirt with little copper embroidered snowflakes. So cute and festive without being cheesy. Love it.
