These kids are growing up SO fast, man. Everyone warns you about that happening, but it’s not until you have your own children that you really get it. It seems to happen super slow and fast all at the same time…one day their favorite shirt is too big and oversized on them and the next their little bellies are sticking out. I remember when G was first born, I bought all the adorable little dresses and hair bows and everything (first kid and all), but after having two kids who were constantly growing out of things, I started to get overwhelmed with All. The. Stuff.
How To Keep Kids’ Clothes Affordable With Carter’s & Afterpay
I mean, of course I still love buying them cute outfits and accessories, but I try to keep it to well-made, quality items that I know they’ll wear over and over again. Carter’s has been a great go-to for both of the kids…they have sizes up to 14 (not to mention some really great promotions) which makes it easy to find something for both Ozzie and Greenlea at the same time. (Which ultimately saves me time.)
On Ozzie: shirt | pants | shoes | hat
On Greenlea: dress | leggings | sandals | purse | headband | sunglasses
So with the kids growing like weeds I want have to keep it budget-friendly. I mean, just the other day we noticed that Greenlea had grown out of all of her pants — like every. single. pair. — seemingly overnight. All of a sudden she basically needed a new wardrobe. So I went on Carter’s website and found a ton of leggings (including two-packs, and some at crazy good prices) on special, which made replacing them super easy and affordable. (Not to mention all of those adorable tops she loved, as well.)
Oh, and they also offer Afterpay, which allows you to pay for purchases in four easy installments (without credit checks or interest!) which is really helpful when you have a bigger purchase to make but need to stay within your monthly budget.

Carter’s For Cute Kids’ Dresses & Fun Accessories
Greenlea has never met an accessory she doesn’t like. (She loves all hair accessories and is obsessed with this unicorn purse!) And dresses? They’re just so easy. She wears them year-round whether on their own in the summer or over leggings and with sweaters in the winter. Easy peasy.

Carter’s For Comfy Kids’ Pants & Adorable Shirts
Ozzie is constantly running and falling (always trying to keep up with his sister) so his pants need to be comfortable and durable–these are perfect and come in a ton of colors — and now that I know first-hand how good they are, I’m going to be needing the camouflage color as well. They go just as well with a button-up as they do with a basic t-shirt. (And can you stand how adorable this hat is? I die.)
XOXO,
Scotti
