It’s almost that time of year again when we:
- ignore the style banishment of matching pinks and reds (it JUST SHOULDN’T happen — not my rule).
- buy fun, lacy panties for our friends (at first they laugh, then their eyes twinkle).
- eat copious amounts of expensive chocolate truffles (expanding far before & beyond that one day).
- bring on all the rose-scented things (even if you hate it/it reminds you of your grandfather’s funeral when you were 11).
- write love letters to your mail guy, one-off babysitter and husband’s great aunt, all signed by your little 1-year-old that can’t even say their own name yet.
Oh, it’s Valentine’s Day that I’m talking about. Pretty sure that was clear enough…
