When you live in a small town three hours north of anywhere, there isn’t a lot of access to anything — naturally. If I can’t find something at Target or the grocery store, well, than our town doesn’t have it (hallelujah for Target).
This is where Amazon really shines for me.
My husband and I can still cook our favorite healthy foods with the access to their Whole Foods products (this curry sauce is on regular order), and I’ve been known to get seriously lost down the rabbit holes of beauty and fitness categories. Lately, I feel as though I’ve struck gold with a few items in particular. These are all things that I could easily order on repeat (and in some cases already have).
15 Fave Amazon Fashion & Beauty Buys I Highly Recommend
From hair clips and sponges that benefit my makeup and skincare applications, to the slides I finally understand the hype about, to the sweatshirt I wanted but thought was sold out forever, and the item I have purchased so many times I need to put it on auto ship, these are all my current most favorite Amazon purchases.
I seriously cannot recommend any of these enough!
01 | Cushionaire Slide Sandals
I know, I know…I’m probably one of the last people to finally try these slides, but I threw them into a recent Amazon order and OMG. I get it now. I actually own this style of slide from a few different retailers and not one of them compares to the comfort of this pair.
These slides are perfect for the pool and beach, roadtrips, going to and from the gym, and even hotel and hospital stays. They’re easy to slip on to grab the mail, or even go for a walk to get ice cream on hot summer evenings. Of course, there’s a TON of colors to choose from, which makes them extra fun.
02 | Liquid I.V. Hydration Multiplier
Since hydration is a major factor in skin and hair quality, I fully consider this a beauty item. I’m not sure why I haven’t clicked “Subscribe & Save” on these packets yet, because at this point I’ve ordered more than I could ever count.
Liquid I.V. packets are perfect after a long workout, when outside under the sun all day, or if you’ve had one too many glasses of wine. These are the best electrolyte packets I’ve personally ever tried, and while they do come off salty, the flavors are amazing. I’m currently on a strawberry kick, but watermelon is right up there as a top fave.
03 | FAFOFA Seamless Workout Set
I haven’t found workout sets better than the ones I score from Amazon (separate pieces, yes, but not a complete top + bottom that can be purchased together). And sometimes (most times) I just really like to be in a matching set.
The sports bra with this is AMAZING! It’s incredibly flattering and supportive. The shorts are highly compressing, which I love for the gym, but for that reason did size up to a large since I don’t really have a waistline (but if you do, I’m sure you can stay TTS).
04 | Nike Everyday Cushion Ankle Training Socks
You may have gathered in other posts of mine that I’m a major sock person. I do not like “no-shows” and typically just wear a full crew sock for any and all purposes. But I recently came across this ankle-length version of my fave Nike socks and they’re truly perfection!
05 | BEAKEY 5 Pcs Makeup Sponge Set
Makeup is one of my favorite things, and I didn’t realize how necessary makeup sponges were until I started using them. I originally tried some more expensive versions from Sephora and Target, but these are easily the best I’ve tried (and bonus, more affordable).
Applying foundation looks better, concealer blends easier, and bronzer looks 10 times more natural with the use of these (*make sure to run under water, then ring out thoroughly with a washcloth: a damp sponge blends better, specifically for cream products)!
06 | Grlasen Oversized Lapel Blazer
Oh baby, I love a good blazer. Thanks to Hailey Bieber I love wearing them over workout sets just as much as I do with a pair of jeans for going out. A good oversized version (that isn’t black) was oddly very difficult for me to find.
I finally fell in love with this one and grabbed it in an XL. The sleeves are nice and long, it’s light and comfortable, and available in a ton of colors (someone needs to stop me from ordering it in blue, too).
07 | i-Laesh 100 Pcs Crystal Spoolies
I use spoolies to apply this gel to my eyebrows. It is the only thing that can tame my wild eyebrow hairs, and works far better than any specific brow product I’ve tried. These spoolies last nearly a lifetime (or so it feels) since I can get a few applications out of each one before rinsing out the gel build-up becomes impossible!
08 | Bandier The Juniper Crew Neck Sweatshirt
When I first found this sweatshirt it was nearly all sold out except for an XS, and I was so bummed…that is until I noticed Amazon still had some in stock! Bandier makes some of my favorite athletic and loungewear pieces, so I knew this would be as good as it looked online.
It’s light and perfectly drapey, and while the Amazon stock is also flying, there are a few colors to choose from (some without the white text) to try and grab your size in!
09 | Gildan Fleece Crewneck Sweatshirt
If you love the look of the sweatshirt above but your size is gone (or you don’t want that white text), never fear, because this $14 fleece version gives the same look! It’s technically men’s sizing, but I’m wearing a large in both this one and the Bandier version above, and they’re pretty much the same.
10 | Colorfulkoala High Waisted Biker Shorts
Because you know your girl is all about those matching sets, I wanted to find a pair of bike shorts in the same blue and hit the jackpot. These are freakishly similar to the feel of lululemon’s bike shorts (so good), but have pockets and are only $20.
The one difference, I would say, is that they run a bit smaller. These are pretty compressing so consider sizing up if you’re between sizes.
11 | Simple Houseware Standard Rod Garment Rack
Listen, every garment rack I’ve ever owned wobbles and nearly tips over if you just breathe near it. I finally became frustrated enough and set off to read a thousand reviews to find a better one. This one is SO sturdy, and it was incredibly easy to put together!
12 | Wowshow Gold Hoop Earrings
I’ve raved about these gold hoop earrings in many of my posts. They’re my favorite to wear for elevating any and every outfit. These come in multiple sizes, as well as silver (which I own). I’ve worked out and showered in them and they still look as good as new!
13 | 8 Pieces No Bend Hair Clips
The reason these clips are better than any other (including headbands) is because they *don’t leave creases.* There’s no bending of the hair while it stays out of your face or ruining the fresh curls you just spent forever styling! I use these for makeup and skincare application.
14 | Seamless 2-Piece Workout Set
Another solid set that comes with compressive shorts and a good sports bra. The top is not as supportive as the pink set I covered above, but it does come with adjustable straps and removable cups, which I greatly appreciate.
15 | Plush Velvet Travel Jewelry Box Organizer
This jewelry box has been a total game changer when it comes to packing my fave pieces for travel. It’s also what I use to store my rings at home, and I think the velvet is just so chic! Available in a few more colors, too.
