When I think about summer, I think of relaxing on the back deck and listening to the birds. I think about long days at the beach and fresh watermelon margaritas in the evening. I think about early morning coffee outside my favorite shop, ice cream treats before dinner, and deep restorative naps on the couch after a day in the sunshine. Now more than ever, I find myself dreaming about fun road trips or even hopping on a plane to a tropical getaway.

Breezy Summer Pants: Easy Beach Style For A Cute Outfit Refresh

You know what I’m always searching for in each and every one of those summertime scenarios? The perfect pair of pants I can throw-on-and-go. I want them easy breezy but also super-cute, with the ability to go from a swim coverup to dinner. I’m currently trying to find my perfect pair, and while this one is currently a go-to in my closet, it turns out there are so many amazing choices right now, more than I was anticipating!

1 | Roxy Sailing Trip Wide Leg Pant

When a word like “sailing” is in the name, I automatically feel like I need these for summer…and to find a friend with a sailboat. They are a linen blend, and I’m loving the soft striped pattern!

2 | Billabong Wandering Soul Wide Leg Pants

The floral print on these is so dreamy. I’m immediately drawn to wildflower fields as the warm golden sun sets in the sky, but also seeing them as the perfect Mai Tai companion sitting poolside. They have these perfect discrete side slits, which means they’re super flowy and would be good with a wide range of shoes!

These come in a bunch of different colors, as well as plus sizes too! They’re 100% linen and less than $60, making them an easy addition to your summer wardrobe. The description says it best–they dress up a day when you wish you could just wear sweats. But like, would be perfect for an afternoon walk or poolside dinner, too!

4 | Free People Feelin’ Good Linen Blend Utility Pants

The linen blend makes these perfect for summer, but the utility pockets makes them unexpectedly more diverse! You could easily wear these in your everyday outfits for meeting a friend or even just running errands. It would even be perfect for long travel days (they come in Mauve, too!).

5 | Bobi Beach Gauze Pant

I love when summer pants come in that crinkle-gauze fabric because you never need to worry about wrinkles ruining the look (which means perfect for napping). These would be so good pulled over a swimsuit. The word “beach” is literally in their name and this perfect blue hue is even called “water.” The only downside is these are a pre-order, but at least where I’m living, there’s still plenty of time to wait for the beach weather to arrive, anyway. The best part about these is that they come in short, regular and long lengths! I love how they are slightly cropped, and while that often can make pants hard to work for everyone, the fact that they sell them in three lengths makes these that much more tempting. The high rise would make them incredibly cute with a cropped top, as well as pulled on with just your bathing suit! This terracotta is beautiful, but there’s also a cute little fruit print…and here they are in neutral tones.

These are my personal favorite. The paperbag waist is showing up everywhere, but I like how this one is a more tamed version, making it easy to try this look out. The tie at the front is both whimsy and pretty that would be easy to style up for dinner, or just a really cute road trip pant with sneakers and a tucked-in tee!
