Everything You Need For Spring Break (And It’s 20% Off At Saks)

This 23 piece list (well, 26 when you count sets as separates) should cover all the usual vacay packing bases and then a little more for a couple fun options.

Unless your spring break location is a cold one or packed with activities that require more items – you should be good with this gorgeous-looking list.

Lets get into my picks for some really freaking stylish spring breaking (all at 20% off!!!).

A Matching Set

A Matching Set for spring break

left: Splendid Striped Tee| Splendid Striped Skirt | right: Solid & Striped Shirt | Solid & Striped Shorts

These are fab. Worn together they are amazing obviously, but they also provide pieces for a bunch of other outfits, too. The striped set especially can work as a cover up, everyday outfit, a going out look, the top with jeans, shorts, the skirt with sweaters, button-downs, tees. The list goes on. The other set is really more of a beach option, but I just love it.

A Dress For Day & Night

Spring break vacation dresses

Staud Mini Daye Toile Dress | En Saison Sere Denim Midi-Dress

And they can be swapped! I just like having 2 dress options (at least haha). They’re just the easiest for warm trips. I can’t get over the details of both dresses above. That Staud one screams spring break to me. Just effortlessly gorgeous. Here’s another pretty mini & I love this gorgeous Rhode midi.

A Warmer Layer

pretty sweaters for spring break

Staud Hampton Quarter-Zip Cotton-Blend Sweater | Sea Serita Crochet Lace Sweatshirt

For chilly airplanes & nights. We always love Staud’s new color combos of this fan-fave sweater and I’m kind of obsessed with sweatshirts that skew fancy like this Sea one. Lace & crochet on my cotton crewneck?? Yesss, please!

A Cute Top

A Cute Top for spring break

Free People Sophie Embroidered Top | Cinq à Sept Amour Graphic T-Shirt

I love a girly little top to pair with jeans or cutoffs. It just feels right when at the beach. This Free People one is so dang adorable. And a cute graphic tee is a no-brainer. The little blue details on this one’s sleeves and collar totally got me. Here’s a denim tank option that also caught my eye. Oh, and this other sweet white graphic.

A Button-Down

Free People Freddie Stripe Cotton Shirt

Free People Freddie Stripe Cotton Shirt

I never travel anywhere warm/beachy without a flowy button-down. I wear them as a cover-up, going-out top, makeshift skirt for bottom bikini coverage in public (haha you know what I mean), and I love that I can wear them with allll the bottoms. They’re just the best. This eyelet one is especially cool, too, if you’re not into the stripes.

A Swimsuit In A Fun Print

Agua Bendita Floral Underwire Bikini Top | Agua Bendita Lace-Up Bikini Bottoms

Printed swimsuits are my weakness. Every year I drool over so many that it’s hard to narrow them down. Agua Bendita, Farm Rio, and PatBO make my favorite printed swim ever.

A Solid-Colored Swimsuit

Hunza G Ursula Halter Cutout One-Piece

Can’t go wrong here – especially if it’s black (AKA the most flattering swimsuit color ever, we think). Here are all of the black swim included in Saks’ promo. You’re welcome ;).

If you’re looking for a non-black option, this blue one & this in pink are my next two faves.

Denim Shorts

Paige Dani Raw-Hem Shorts

The mid-blue wash of these Paige shorts will just go with everything. The 4″ inseam is great too if you’re doing a bit of walking & don’t want them riding up.

Pants For Travel + Cool Nights

AG Saige Wide-Leg Cropped Jeans | Cinq À Sept Zola Drawstring Cargo Pants

There’s always a night (or plane ride) that is a whole lot colder than you thought it’d be. I always pack a pair of jeans for nights – but cargos are an updated, trendy option too. Love the idea of these Cinq À Sept ones and a bikini top. 😍

A Sandal For Day & Night

spring break sandals

TKEES Studio Flip Flops | Saks Fifth Avenue Deluxe Nappa Leather Sandals

I know. Technically this can be one shoe haha. But I love options!!! And flat shoes is a category where you can get a little extra because they take up such little space in your suitcase. I’d go with an easy (yet pretty) flip flop like this one + a slightly elevated pair like these braided leather ones. These in black and these in silver are also on my mind ahhh.

Pretty Sneakers

Autry Medalist Canvas Low-Top Sneakers | rag & bone Retro Court Leather Sneakers

For traveling, running for morning coffee, walking around the hotel, sightseeing, exploring, all the walking stuffs. Bonus points if they’re actually pretty like these yellow Autrys and these by rag & bone so that you can wear them with all of your outfits, too!

A Cute Travel Bag

Stoney Clover Lane Canvas & Nylon Large Shopper Tote

I’m really into these canvas tote bags for this year. I love that it works as your ‘personal item’ if you’re flying, an everyday tote, and a beach bag. Just so versatile. Look at this one too – the stripes are adorable.

A Date Night Bag

Loeffler Randall Bailey Raffia Clutch

Anything raffia (or straw) is perfect for spring break all the way through the end of summer. This Loeffler Randall one has a pretty little gold chain if you’d rather wear it instead of hold it. Looks like it’d be perfect to smush into your luggage, too.

Fun Accessories

Jennifer Zeuner Stud Earrings | Roxanne Assoulin Triple Crème Bracelet Set

I usually use trips as an excuse to buy a new piece of jewelry to wear with all my outfits while away. Just me? Oh, mhm….

Sunglasses

Isabel Marant Square Sunglasses

Don’t forget ’em!!!! Especially if they’re this fabulous. Two other pairs I keep coming back to are these green ones by Isabel Marant and these by Carrera. Swoon.

Enjoy your vacay (and your cute new clothes)!!
