Vuori’s Boyfriend Cargo Joggers Are My New Go-To Comfy Pants For Fall

In addition to the uber-softness of Vuori’s new cargo joggers, I’m loving that the boyfriend fit is roomier and more relaxed than many of the other joggers in my closet. I wear Vuori’s Performance Joggers (the new mahogany-brown color is so beautiful for fall), but they definitely are more fitted. And sometimes my body is just craving relaxed.

In the Performance Joggers, I need a large for a roomier fit, but the medium in Vuori’s Boyfriend Cargo Joggers fits just the way I want. Enough slouch for me to feel comfortable wearing them with a fitted bodysuit or crop tank (especially with Vuori’s cute lightweight, insulated jacket over top), but not overwhelmingly baggy like some cargos.

Cargo Pants You Can Work Out In: Vuori Cargo Joggers

I’m definitely going to be using these cargo joggers as my fall comfy pants around the house, and as “real” pants while out and about, but I’m also incorporating them into my workout-wear rotation as well.

I’m not a leggings gal for most workouts, so I’m always looking for comfy joggers that are lightweight enough for exercise walks on the trail and dance classes.

Shana has been trying to convince me to start jogging with her on the trail. This usually provokes an “ugh, no way” from me — I’m a strict power-walking-only trail exerciser. I did, however, give jogging a little try in the cargos (just for fun, Shana…no commitments here!).

Although I’m not going to be giving these super-comfy cargos credit for magically turning me into a runner, they DO feel pretty darn good with this stay-in-place bodysuit while moving my body and breaking a sweat.

Outfit Details: What I’m Wearing With Vuori’s Boyfriend Cargo Joggers

The fit, the fabric, the style…these cargo joggers feel really versatile. I have all sorts of plans for them. Pay attention to the sizing notes below…I wish I would’ve sized up on a few of the pieces.

1. The Westerlies Mock Tank

Vuori’s Westerlies Mock Tank has SUCH cute ruched sides and a chic mock neck, and it feels like you’re wearing absolutely nothing. Lightweight, thin and super-soft. It’s made with Vuori’s performance jersey, but it could definitely be worn for more than just workouts or lounging. Slightly sheer, but not SO sheer that I’m not comfortable wearing it with a black bra underneath (especially if I would have sized up).

Fit Notes: I definitely should have sized up with this tank. I ignored the reviews and ordered my typical size S, but I really should have gotten a size medium or maybe even a large. It’s VERY stretchy, and according to the reviews, the larger sizing would have given me more length (and less belly action), which I would prefer.

2. The Halo Bodysuit

I had no idea if I was a bodysuit person, but I adore Vuori’s Halo Bodysuit in the Mahogany Heather color, as well as the idea of wearing a top that stays put and doesn’t ride up and show too much belly. Figured it was definitely worth a try. Love that it doesn’t show underneath pants (thong) and that it’s soft to the touch (DreamKnit fabric) and stretchy, so you don’t have to wrestle yourself into it.

Fit Notes: Although there’s a shelf bra built in, if you want to wear a bra with it, a regular bra fits underneath. Wearing a small here and think I may be happier with the M. It’s a little too snug under the arms…not uncomfortable because the fabric is so soft, but I think it would look better on me in size M.

3. The Canyon Insulated Lightweight Jacket

Warm and cozy enough for those crisp fall mornings (and mild winter days), but with a comfy lightweight feel. Vuori’s Canyon Insulated Jacket comes in pretty Hazel and Pistachio colors, in addition to this black. It’s made with a PFC-free durable-water-repellant coating, and it has that nice slouchy vibe that I’m feeling for fall.

Fit Notes: I wear an XS in my other Vuori jacket but went with a S in this one, and I like the slightly oversized feel. Would be cute a bit more fiited too, though, if you want to try your typical size.
