This post is sponsored by Vuori & Collective Voice.
My longtime love affair with Vuori is no secret.
The Daily Leggings are my absolute favorites (it’s the tie-waist for me), I pack a set of the DreamKnit fleece on every vacation, and Vuori’s Sunrise tanks are the ones I wear all summer long.
But, now, Vuori has really done it. It has come out with a set that is…drumroll please…almost fancy.
I’m in love.
Vuori has long been a go-to of mine for gifting — both self-gifting (haha) and actual, real gifting. It’s one of the rare brands that are beloved by my mom, myself and my teenage son, and I think any of these pieces would be an easy win for Mother’s Day.
Casual But Almost Fancy: 2 Easy Spring + Summer Outfit Ideas Ft. Vuori
Technically speaking, there are really three outfit ideas here, but two involve the same top, so I figured this is a pick-your-bottoms kind of situation. And the other? A dress that I’m sure you’ve heard of already (Scotti has owned this dress for years), but I’m just now getting around to trying. She’s right — it is a good one. So, let’s start with the dress.
1. Vuori Halo Essential Dress
The gloriously easy Halo Essential Dress is made from the same DreamKnit fabric as my beloved Vuori joggers. So, yeah — we’re talking bananas soft. It also has a shelf bra, removing the need for an actual bra, and a midi length (my favorite wear-every-day summer-dress length).
But the reason I’m wild about this dress is that it manages to both highlight curves and yet (and YET!!) is forgiving on a softer stomach.
Guys, this dress is not skintight. Repeat: This. Dress. Is. Not. Skin. Tight. While it is fitted through the hips (and bust, obvi), there’s some…ease through the middle section.
As I said, it’s gloriously easy. And deliciously soft. And chic & flattering. Simply put, this Vuori dress is a good one. It comes in four colors (I’m wearing the Black Heather), and the fit is true to size. Would also work great for nursing mamas too.
2. Vuori Villa Tank & Joggers (Or Shorts)
Vuori’s Villa collection is made from a “Lightweight, Performance 4-way Stretch Woven” fabric, which basically means it’s feather-light and silky soft. It’s also 45% recycled polyester, a detail I always appreciate.
I chose a color Vuori calls Beach Sand because I want to be able to wear this set all summer…but after trying it on — it really is almost impossibly lightweight — I realize that the black would’ve been fine too. (This set is also available in a really pretty Pistachio color, but, well, neutrals & I have a thing.)
I adore the slouch factor of the joggers, but in a fabric that feels elevated. And I also appreciate that the elastic waistband isn’t too tight, either.
The Villa tank top and joggers are absolutely perfect for travel, but I’ve been wearing them to run errands or just lounge around on warmer days. The set wears like a sweatsuit in terms of comfort, but the vibe is Real Clothes.
While one can tuck the tank into the joggers (the set then resembles a jumpsuit), I’m happy with the untucked nonchalance of the set as is.
And then, for you truly hot-weather folks, the Villa Shorts are also an option.
One Last Note: The Vuori Daily Leggings Have New Colors

While you’re already peeping all things Vuori, I should also point out that the new colors of Vuori’s Daily Leggings are BEAUTIFUL. I’m wearing Beryl, and it’s…just…wow. Another stunner for a Mother’s Day gift?

And if you’re not into crop tops, Vuori’s Lux Performance Tank is dreamy soft (feels more like DreamKnit aka the classic joggers), is moisture-wicking, comes in eight different colors, and has juuuust enough room to knot at the waist. Size up for a slouchier look; otherwise this tank top fits TTS.
A huge thank-you to Vuori for sponsoring this post! I’m a pretty dedicated, longtime fan, and working with Vuori is always a blast. As always, all product choices, thoughts and opinions are my own. And, readers, thank you for your continued support. It doesn’t go unnoticed and is so very much appreciated!!
