So, Shana and I put our heads together and filtered down All The Jeans to find the most perfect shape to combat the thicker, cushy sole and shape of HOKA Bondi 8 sneakers…which turns out to be barrel (or balloon?) jeans. How To Wear HOKAs & Jeans Now (Summer)
As we mentioned above, the key to making HOKAs & denim outfits look intentional is to choose the right bag. For summer, we’ve found that it’s best if you stick to one of these four styles: a belt bag, a utility bag, a straw/woven bag or a legitimate backpack. And they all have to be in tones that match the shoes (easier than you think).
And note that the color doesn’t have to be exact — similar colors work, especially if you keep it the same tone/brightness. If all else fails, just go with white. It’ll match most soles anyway.

Same deal, just pulling colors from the HOKA Bondi 8s, but now upping the texture of the bag for colder seasons. We went with leather and all-weather coating in the next few ‘fits.
