Well. It’s almost that time of year again.
That time of year when these gloriously lazy, slow summer mornings dissolve into a mad rush of making lunches, finding shoes and zipping backpacks. We all have our strengths, and mine is not being a back-to-school kind of mum. But neither am I a homeschooling-kind-of-mum, so here we are.
It’s taken me over a decade to get used to this abrupt change in routine, and I’ve — finally — embraced prepping for the start of school well in advance to the actual start of school. And since this seems to be the year that A. my boys care about their “look,” and B. they literally have grown out of everything, we started with clothes.
So when adidas reached out, I asked my guys what they thought about the back-to-school selection, and whoa: It was a very enthusiastic yes.
Back-To-School Shopping With Adidas: What The Cool Kids Are Wearing
First of all, Pax needs a new backpack, and adidas’ Stadium Backpack is perfect for his seventh-grade year. It has an extra net thingy to hold a soccer ball (which can be tucked away, if not needed), and it comes in Pax’s signature bright orange (iykyk).
Both Raines, my oldest, and Pax are deeply into cargo pants (these are literally on the back-to-school list of every kid I know — and me too, haha), and adidas’ Adicolor Cargo Pants are freaking perfect.
Raines also wants a pair, but he’s too big. If you’re also shopping for a teen, Raines has & loves this pair of cargo joggers, and is also interested in this pair of cargo pants for a wider/baggier look.
As it stands, Pax is wearing a size L in the pants, and an XL in the hoodie, so he’s right on the cusp of mens’ clothing too.
Gahhh, he looks so old! How did we get here???
My partner in crime, for sure.

Cute Stuff For Me (Because Back-To-School is HARD)
Why can’t summer last forever??
A huge thank-you to adidas for sponsoring this post! We’re giant fans, all of us. Per usual, all thoughts, opinio and product choices are my own (or in this case, Pax’s own). And, readers, thank you for your continued support. It doesn’t go unnoticed, and is so very much appreciated.
