Ever since I did my big lululemon vs. Vuori Jogger review, Zack had been dropping some not-so-subtle hints that he also needed some comfy joggers. Like, “you got new joggers again? It must be nice…” and “I wish I had some comfy pants to watch this movie in…”

And since both my lululemon joggers and my Vuori joggers are on heavy rotation in my wardrobe, I can totally appreciate his jealousy. I mean I did end up keeping them both — so I thought it might be fun to have him try one pair of joggers from each brand to see which he ended up liking more.

Spoiler alert: he kept them both, too. But let’s go through the details anyway, just for fun. It turns out that one pair is perfect for wearing out of the house…and the other is perfect for cozy nights on the couch.

According to Zack, lululemon’s ABC Joggers are the more substantial of the two pairs. They’re not as soft as Vuori’s, (those are made from the softest fabric I’ve ever felt) but they’re thicker, more like “real pants.” Meaning: he would be very comfortable wearing these out of the house.

They’re a classic tapered style and come in three different lengths for the perfect fit (Zack is 6’1″ and wearing his typical size large in the 30″ length). Made from lulu’s Warpstreme™ Fabric, they’re breathable, wrinkle-resistant, quick-drying and hold their shape. Zack has washed and dried them, no problem. (They come in a ton of colors, too!)

Outfit Details

joggers: lululemon ABC Joggers (in 28, 30 and 32 inch lengths and a ton of colors) – Zack said these were the more substantial of the two pairs…meaning he would be more comfortable actually wearing these out of the house to run errands or something.

hoodie: Alternative Men’s Eco Zip Hoodie Sweatshirt — Zack loves the thinness of this hoodie…super easy to layer, soft and comfy, and comes in a ton of colors.

shirt: Goodthreads Crewneck t-shirt — Zack loves these soft cotton t-shirts and the fact that he can wash and dry them without shrinking. Available in a ton of colors and patterns.

shoes: Nike Killshot 2 Sneakers — love the retro vibe of these sneakers!

Vuori Ponto Performance Pant

When Zack first put these on he was like, “Oh my God, these are so soft! Why would I ever wear anything else?” (Those of us who’ve felt that crazy soft fabric from Vuori are totally with him.)

The answer came to him eventually, though, as he thoughtfully remarked — completely serious — that these joggers were “one bad boner away” from making him look like “that creepy guy.” OMG. Apparently, these might be harder to wear out of the house because of how thin (and, IDK…soft??) the fabric is?? Clearly, there are reasons we need the guys to weigh in.

Despite that…the comfort level is beyond any pants he’s ever worn–pjs included. He said that wearing these felt like wearing lotion, so this is the ultimate pair if your goal is maximum comfort. They’re breathable, moisture-wicking, quick-drying and, like lululemons’ ABC Joggers, they wash and dry really well.

And The Best Joggers For Men Winner is…

He’s keeping them both. Not that shocking given one is like the ultimate in comfort and one is the best wear-everywhere pair. And, like me, he’s wearing a whole lotta loungewear these days so they’re both getting lots of use. (And now I think I might need to find him some jogger-friendly underwear…did anyone else know that Spanx makes underwear for men??😬😂)
