The Spring Shoes I’m Coveting At The Saks Spend/Get Event

Saks is having a Spend/Get event on full-priced shoes and handbags, and while I’m not much of a handbag girl…I am most definitely A Shoe Girl. Especially when one of my favorite, most covetable brands is included in the event: Loeffler Randall. SWOON.

Some of you may recall that I’ve been wearing a pair of Loeffler Randall mules for a few years now (this exact style), and they’re still shockingly comfortable and well-made. So when I’m planning to invest in some wear-forever shoes, Loeffler Randall is one of the first brands I check.

Sak’s Spend/Get Shoe & Handbag Event works like this: For every $400 you spend, Saks will take $100 off your purchase (which works out to be about 25% off) with code SHHB21SF. So if you’ve ever been considering a shoe (or handbag) investment purchase…now is a pretty good time.

Loeffler Randall: The Spring Shoes I’m *Really* Excited About

As always (it’s me, guys), I was on the hunt for comfortable, walkable shoes (spoiler: flats and sneakers). But I also managed to find ONE pair of v. exciting heels that are way more comfortable than they look. And — bonus! — the pairs I found all take my usual jeans-and-a-top uniform in a rather fresh direction for spring.

1. Loeffler Randall Leonie Leather Ballet Flats

I am beyond obsessed with Loeffler Randall’s Leonie Ballet Flats. They harken back to shoes I wore in the ’90s, and I’m not mad about it. Unlike my ’90s version (which I think I picked up in Chinatown for $5 and eventually hurt my feet after too much walking), these are made from buttery-soft leather, with a real (yet flexible) sole. Nothing rubs or pinches, and they’re easy to walk in. (I’m between a 6.5 and a size 6, and I went with the smaller of the two sizes.)

The ballerina vibe here is strong.

I have the lower-heeled Emelia mules, and have typically shied away from this higher-heeled pair. Well. Silly me. These shoes somehow don’t feel nearly as high as they look, and the ankle-strap makes them dead easy to walk in.

Besides….that GREEN. It strikes me as the kind of color that will be fun during the holidays…but still feel fresh and unexpected in the spring and summer. Full disclosure? I’ve had my eye on this pair for YEARS.

3. Loeffler Randall Keira Sneakers

Speaking of the ’90s….remember friendship pins???? AHHHH SO FUN! Actually…these sneakers are another solid example of why I freaking love Loeffler Randall so much. Not only are they insanely well-made (they’re super squishy and comfortable…AND they’ll last forever), but the brand also has that whole classics-with-a-twist down pat. Loeffler Randall shoes always strike me as shoes that are timeless…but never boring.
