Well, shoot, gang, here I thought I was going to really blow your minds with these new-to-me Vuori pants in an equally new-to-me quasi-dressy, technical fabric…and then I checked our archives, and um, Shana wrote about them a couple of months ago. *facepalm*

The good news: That only reinforces my notion that these pants, which I tried in not one but two silhouettes, are the stuff of freaking dreams. The bad news? Looks like I need to dial up the memory supplements. Or can you still blame baby brain when said baby is walking all over town? Eeeesh.

These Vuori Pants Are Next Level (& Can Go Anywhere): 2 Outfit Ideas

OK, but honestly. I squealed — squealed — when I pulled both the Villa Jogger and Villa Wideleg out of Vuori’s clever recyclable packaging. The performance stretch fabric is super-freaking thin and light, almost impossibly so, with a silky hand that makes them borderlinedressy? fancy? office appropriate? I think it’s all of the above.

Which shouldn’t really surprise me. Vuori has this way of making all of its clothing — even the athletic-oriented pieces — feel really luxe and elevated. And few brands make me feel as confident.

Vuori has this way of making its activewear feel luxe & elevated.

But both of these Vuori pants — and, I suspect, everything in the Villa collection (I actually tried the Villa Romper too, and it’s ridiculously good — more to come) — are just next level. I can see wearing them to school drop-off, the playground, the grocery store, the office, brunch, date night.

They’d be exceptionally well suited to travel too. So much so that I’m low-key annoyed I didn’t order them in time for my girls trip to Austin. (The fabric is wrinkle-resistant and quick-drying, and it’s so light and breathable, I actually think they would’ve been ideal for the 100-degree days.)

We’ve got another trip on the books for late summer, and I can already tell you that all four of the Vuori pieces detailed in this post are at the top of my packing list. So let’s get into them.

Chic, Easy + (Duh) So Freaking Comfy: Vuori Villa Jogger + Sedona Crew

There's something that feels so bold & sophisticated about pairing bright white w/ something kind of stone-y & taupe.

There’s something that feels so bold and sophisticated about pairing bright white with something kind of stone-y and taupe. Plus, it’s like, “Why yes, I do have young children, and I am wearing light colors, what’s YOUR superpower?

Vuori's Villa Joggers are some of the chicest pants I now own. I love the wider elasticized cuff at the ankles, which makes them read more Pants than Loungewear.

Vuori’s Villa Joggers are some of the chicest pants I now own. I love the wider elasticized cuff at the ankles, which makes them read more Pants than Loungewear — and yet, of course they’re as comfortable as can be. (I actually bought Chris Vuori’s Fleet Joggers, which seems to be a men’s equivalent, for Father’s Day, and he’s been wearing them nonstop. Around the house, around town, to the lake, into the office. They’re superb.) I’m surprisingly into the Beach Sand color that I’m wearing here, but they’d be even easier to dress up in the black.

These Vuori joggers & wide-leg pants are next level (I literally squealed when I got them), so I'm styling them up in 2 luxe yet versatile summer outfits.

And let’s take a moment to talk about this Sedona Crew sweatshirt. While I picked it because I seem be a true believer that One Can Never Have Too Many Sweatshirts, this one might win you over even if you think differently.

The fabrication of this Vuori crewneck sweatshirt isn't your run-of-the-mill French terry. Instead, it's "stretch-infused," w/ an almost sueded feel.

The fabrication is not your run-of-the-mill French terry. Instead, it’s a “stretch-infused” French terry that’s suuuper-soft, with an almost sueded feel, and it drapes much more elegantly than a stiffer fleece might. It also comes in black, which, yesssss, and a color called Seed that reads kind of a…creamy tahini? Love.

The Most Unexpected Little Black Dress…Pants? Vuori’s Villa Wideleg (+ Sunrise Crop Tank)

These Vuori wide-leg pants in black have me looking like I have my you-know-what together w/ minimal effort.

If you’ve been reading with us for a while (or even reading between the lines in this post), I’m guilty of gravitating toward black anything at almost every opportunity. Call it basic, call it safe. I call it strategic. I like looking like I have my you-know-what together with minimal effort, and black or bright white (see: above) will do it every time.

Because the fabric of Vuori's wide-leg pants is somehow soft & silk, they even move elegantly, w/o any obvious swishing.

These Vuori Villa wide-leg pants are perhaps the greatest example of that, ever. They’re the same super-light, technical fabric as the joggers, but the wide, elegant silhouette formalizes things a bit. And because this fabric is somehow soft and silky, they even move elegantly, without any obvious swishing (which doesn’t tend to bother me, but I know it can be a deal breaker for some).

They’re cut on the long side too. I’m 5’5″ and wearing them high on my waist. If you’re taller than me, you’d have a little more flexibility and could even rock them lower on your hips (which I tried, just to make sure the bum still looks right — it does!), or I could even get away wearing them lower on my waist with heels. I’m telling you — versatile.

This ribbed crop tank top from Vuori is well designed, & it works w/ a standard bra.

Also a stellar multitasker: this Vuori Sunrise Crop Tank. I adore a ribbed tank, and this one is so well designed. Somehow it’s the ideal length for just about any bottoms, and while the cut shows just enough skin, it also works with a standard bra (or let the flirty straps of a cute sports bra show for a little cheekiness).

Oh, and as for fit, I’m wearing everything here in my usual Vuori size (I’m typically between an XS and S in most brands, and I fit a S in Vuori products across the board), but I found the size chart to be helpful and accurate when I was ordering for the first time.

Hope you get the chance to take these ‘fits somewhere fun this summer!
Cheers!

Em
