New + Improved: Vuori Clothing Just Keeps Getting Better
The Halo Performance Hoodie 2.0 is made from the same buttery-soft fabric we know and love, but it has an updated fit. There’s a bit more room throughout the body, and it’s slightly more cropped than the previous version (see the older fit here).
Last year’s version was just a tad too long and not as generous — so it didn’t lay as smoothly as this one does. (You can see in my photos from the older post that it it wasn’t as great as this updated fit.)
This updated version is still made with the four-way stretch fabric that’s super-comfortable, moisture-wicking and just as soft, but the fit just drapes better. (And pairs really, really nicely with the Performance Jogger!)
Add Another Layer: Vuori’s New Canyon Insulated Jacket

As if the Halo Performance Hoodie 2.0 wasn’t amazing enough on its own, Vuori created this insulated jacket that’s basically the Ultimate Top Layer. You literally have to feel it to believe how soft and lightweight it is — it’s so much lighter than I thought it would be but still super-warm. It’s light enough to run in (without feeling like you’re working so much harder just wearing it), but the jacket works just as well layered over the hoodie to run errands or just lounge in.

I’ve been wearing the Canyon jacket daily since I got it because it’s that comfortable. While it’s currently out of stock in this Laurel color, you can scoop it up in classic black or this lovely dusty-rose. I love the high-neck collar and the fact that it looks good zipped up or left open. The size zip pockets are perfect for carrying whatever you might need, and the high-low hemline goes amazingly well with leggings…
My Stay-In-Place Favorite: Vuori’s Studio Pocket Legging

…and, speaking of leggings, Vuori’s Studio Pocket Leggings are my favorite, hands down. I found that out last year when I started running again: I had a few different pairs I would wear while working out and noticed that I never had to pull up or adjust Vuori’s leggings. They just stayed in place, exactly where they should be, regardless of the workout I was doing. The pockets on the side (big enough for my phone) and the hidden waistband pocket were also pluses, but it was the fit that sold me.

I love the Studio Pocket Leggings so much, in fact, that I now have two pairs — both black, one small and one medium. Both sizes fit, I just have a bit of extra room with the medium. Those two have now replaced most of my other pairs of leggings (when you find a pair that works, you don’t bother with the ones that don’t anymore!). These leggings pair SO well with the hoodie + jacket combo.
Try This Too: Vuori’s Slouchy Waffle Crew
Finally, one of Vuori’s newest pieces, the Slouchy Waffle Crew, is a new favorite of mine. I love the loose, slightly oversized fit that pairs perfectly with the leggings or joggers (or your favorite jeans). It’s not overly long (but not cropped!), is super-cozy, and is the perfect post-workout layer. (But you know I’ve worn it when I had zero intentions of working out — it’s also perfect for sipping coffee in!)

The neckline is wide and can be worn off the shoulder or on, and it layers really well with the neckline of the Mudra Plyo Tank, another favorite that I own in two colors. It has a built-in medium-support bra (with removable cups!) and is made of moisture-wicking stretch fabric in a waffle knit that’s so comfy. And, like most of Vuori’s clothing, it works just as well for running errands as it does for working out!
