Athleta: Chic Activewear That Takes Us From Workout To Street Style

Like I said, Athleta gets the fact that we need our workout wear to perform…but also that we want to look cute running errands or meeting friends or doing school pick-up, etc., before and after our sweat sesh. 

I love that they not only make the leggings, sports bras, crop tanks and tees that we need during a workout, but the pieces like the jackets, wraps and tops that are easy to pop on top to make a complete outfit. 1 | Elation Flare Pant

I so, so want to try these Elation pants out. I’ll be honest, I’m kinda digging a new vibe for my barre workouts and these might just be it! It’s the Powervita fabric that ‘feels like a gentle hug’ that is also selling me!

2 | Pranayama Wrap

This Pranayama wrap has been a team favorite pick for a while now. It’s like a cozy light layer to pop on over your yoga or workout wear or just a PJs or athleisure topper for home. So soft and lovely.

3 | Ultimate Train Tee

When I want a piece I can wear all day but be ready for a workout, it’s a piece like this training tee. These are perfect for walks around the neighborhood, too, or definitely the gym! It is super-light and breathable, but gives you good coverage, too.

Kat and I both love the Trekkie pants line at Athleta. They merge that gap between workout wear and street style so well. I love the wide ribbed waistband and the drawstring for the perfect fit. This is a great pair for shorties, too, because the regular inseam is only 24″ (they offer a tall, too.)

8 | Santorini Cinch Dress

I haven’t tried this cinch dress, but how great does it look? It is made of a lightweight TENCEL Modal fabric, which tells me it would be a joy to wear.

9 | Salutation Stash Pocket Legging II

The Salutation leggings have been some of the most popular styles for years. I adore this color!! And the pocket is essential for walks or runs when you gotta have your phone for some tunes or a podcast to get you through. Essential.

10 | Studio Wide Leg

I have these Studio wide-leg pants and adore them for summer. They are light and soooo soft and super-cute with a tee tied at the waist and flat sandals. The waist band is a fold-over style that is super-comfy on those days where a regular waistband just won’t do. Now I want to go put mine on.

11 | Cabo Linen Jogger

I think at least half the TME team has these Cabo linen joggers either in the wide leg or the jogger form. So cute and versatile to dress up or down.

Again with this beautiful green shade…Paired with the capped sleeves, I love the unique neck on this Mock tee.
