Hang on to your boots, ya’ll, because I have so much to share with you. I totally was not expecting to fall in love so hard with so much stuff from the 2022 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Honestly, the online preview usually leaves me a little disheartened, but this year it was different. For the first time since I’ve been covering this sale for TME I was able to shop IN person at an actual store (my fellow Michiganders know the struggle) and it made a HUGE difference.

Being able to actually interact with each piece up close and personal allowed me to be much more conscientious in my choices so I could focus on quality rather than quantity. Having the opportunity to try everything on also allowed me to narrow the playing field and helped ensure that everything I took home was something I actually loved and covered all my criteria: high-quality, comfortable, flattering, functional and versatile.

Fab Dresses, Dang Good Denim + More Fall Pieces I Adore: A Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2022 Try-On

Thanks to this year’s Anniversary Sale I’m already pretty much set when it comes to fall and winter wardrobe essentials. I’ve already found my sure-to-be cold weather closet faves for the upcoming season including: these smokin’ knee-high leather boots by Reiss (one of my all-time favorite NSale purchases), this Badass Babe suede AllSaints Moto Jacket and the most flattering Good American jeans ever. There was just something special about this year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! Because I found so much I loved, the outfit ideas just kept coming! Here are 10 looks I’m totally head over heels for!

Mini & Midi Dresses Too Good To Ignore

1. A Fabulous Floral Midi + Reiss Knee High Boots (Plus, 2 Ways to Style)

This Lost + Wonder midi slip dress caught my eye right away when I first was browsing through all the Nordstrom sale items a few weeks ago. Feminine floral prints in silky satin fabrics are one of my biggest weaknesses, so I knew I had to have it. I knew it was meant for me as soon as I put it on. The colors are gorgeous, and the tones are cool enough for wearing throughout fall and winter. Plus, it fits like a dream.

I feel like everything I put on with this dress just worked! My favorite boots of the entire sale, these Reiss Knee High boots, feel like they were MADE for this dress — I couldn’t believe how GOOD they looked together. The more I paired with this dress, whether it was the AllSaints suede moto jacket or the oversized Topshop knitted cardigan, the harder I fell in love with it.

2. A Mesh AllSaints Midi + Suede Moto + Reiss Boots

I am so obsessed with this entire outfit. This sheer long-sleeve snakeprint midi dress by AllSaints is so enchanting person. It’s the most gorgeous, rich shade of blue that would pair perfectly with pretty much any neutral shade including brown, black and beige (so, endless options!)

I’m especially loving how lovely the warm rusty brown shades of the jacket and the Reiss boots go with this deep shade of blue: so unexpected and so stunning!

3. A Fun, Affordable Floral Mini Dress + Knee High Boots (+ 3 Ways to Wear it)

Okay, so this floral mini dress is actually one of the pieces I was MOST excited about from the preview. It just so happens to be an absolute bargain for only $33. You know how much I love vintage floral prints so this cute little dress was right up my alley. Besides, it’s a way more versatile piece than one might think. My favorite way to wear this dress is with the ultra-luxurious suede cognac AllSaints moto and the most amazing Reiss Knee High boots. I can think of several more ways to make this dress work in your wardrobe. A must-buy!

Dang Good Good American Denim That Goes w/ All The NSALE Tops

I will be keeping these ultra-flattering Good American jeans FOR SURE. So far, these are definitely my favorite pair of jeans from this year’s sale. I tried so many jeans on in-store, and there were a few I liked well enough (meh) but these were the only pair that I HAD to have. They are so flattering and comfortable, and I love the medium blue wash. Since they were the only jeans I liked enough to buy in-store, I figured why not wear them with every single cute top I took home with me.

4. AllSaints Snakeskin Camisole

This snakeskin cami by AllSaints is gorgeous in person. The color is stunning and it’s super-soft.

5. Free People Cold-Shoulder Sweater

Leave it to Free People to make a tee with the perfect combination of sexiness and softness. It’s super-comfortable and lightweight. An easy keeper for me.

6. Wayf Wrap Sweater

I love the pink shade of this Wayf wrap cardigan sweater — it’s such a versatile piece too. You can wear it over dresses, as a blouse, even over a turtleneck. It runs large though, so order a size down! it’s still super-soft and not at all itchy like I expected.

7. Floral Free People Blouse

A lil’ bit of wowza and a whole lot of fun. This Free People Flutter Sleeve blouse is one of the most gorgeous tops of the entire sale, the colors are so vibrant in person and it’s nice and stretchy, so it’s fitted and comfortable.

8. Channeling Coastal-Chic in AllSaints Jogger Trousers + Nikes & A Cardi

My best take on this summer’s hottest trend: Coastal Grandma. It’s also the most comfortable Nordstrom Sale outfit I’ve ever worn. I have wanted these AllSaints Jogger Trousers since the Nordstrom Sale LAST year but they sold out before I could grab them. This year I was in luck and they were stocked in my size. I am obsessed with how good they look with this gorg blue Topshop cardigan. BUT, the real show stealer are these amazing Nike Waffle One sneakers! I cannot believe they had them in my size; I was sure they would be gone. These Nike Waffle Ones are officially the CUTEST sneakers ever. The color combo is perfection.

9. Plaid Wide-Leg Trousers + Loafers

I have been hunting for wide-leg trousers for months now so any pair I can get my hands on, I’m all about! These wide-leg Treasure & Bond Trousers are such a steal for under $50! They would make the perfect winter workhorse trousers. The back waist is elastic, so they are extra comfortable, with room to move in. They would be perfect for teaching or other jobs that require bending or lots of movement throughout the day. These Franco Sarto loafers were one of my surprise favorites of the entire sale, although they run small, so order 1/2 size up!

10. Topshop Trousers + Free People Bodysuit + Schutz Sandals

Picture me cabana-side (or at least picture me at the pool) in this easy, breezy summer look. It works for every situation: daytime tourist activities, dinner under the stars, or drinks with girls at the local beer garden. I’ve been wanting this blue free people bodysuit for ages now so it’s a keeper for me!
