I’m a summer babe. I love the heat and wearing crop tops, and I live my best life at the beach. Summer is my jam, and I thrive in warmer, sunnier climates.
I am decidedly not a sweater-weather kind of babe.
Finding any winter wear that’s cute, comfy and works for plus sizes is always quite a challenge for me. Combine my lack of interest in wearing sweaters with the fact that I’m allergic to all the “softest” fabrics like cashmere, it’s really a recipe for disaster.
A Cropped Sweater For Plus-Size Girlies Who Can’t Wait For Summer
Enter: Free People’s Easy Street Tunic. I’ve been in love with this exact sweater for four years now. It is by far my most-worn sweater of all time. It has that perfect oversized fit that I love, is breathable yet warm, and is so incredibly easy to style for all occasions.
I LOVE this sweater so much that I own it in three colors, and when I’m turning to a sweater that isn’t a hoodie, you can bet that it’ll almost always be this sweater that I reach for.
So, you can imagine how excited I was to come across version 2.0: The Easy Street Crop Pullover. I knew I needed to order it immediately. (Oh, P.S. It’s under $100 too!)
The result? I love the Easy Street Crop Pullover (AKA version 2.0) even more than the OG! Reason number one: It’s CROPPED! I love all things cropped, and this sweater delivers on that perfectly oversized cropped cut we all know and love.
I purchased the cropped version in a very pretty robin’s-egg blue and in a classic, crisp white. And TBH? I loved both colors. I think they both work so well with my mainly neutral wardrobe. This sweater is so easy to wear with jeans, and it’s a slightly longer crop, so minimal skin peeks out when you wear it.
If you’re looking for a sweater that’s easy to wear, great quality AND under $100, then this is the sweater for you!
Cheers to winter and wearing sweaters that we actually like.
