If I am being totally honest, I’m not really a sweater person. I’ve always had the hardest time finding a sweater that doesn’t feel itchy, has that perfect mix of warmth and breathability and isn’t too trendy. Yes, you heard that right, I don’t like ultra-trendy sweaters.
I like sweaters that are timeless — and this Free People sweater is the one piece I always reach for. In fact, it’s the sweater I continually wear year after year.

The Free People Easy Street Tunic: A Seriously Good Sweater In My Forever Closet
I have had this same Free People sweater for three seasons now, and every year it’s still my favorite! (And the quality has held up, too.) I love that it’s slightly oversized and easy to layer. It’s made of cotton and the chunky knit gives it that breathability I love in a sweater. This FP gem comes in a variety of colors (more seem to launch every season!). I personally have my eye on the zested lime and lavender next!
This sweater is such a breeze to style and can be worn a ton of ways; it looks great over a slip dress, is perfect with jeans, and it’s my current fav to pair these faux leather joggers from my recent post.
Free People Easy Street Tunic Sweater + Good American Jeans
Last year, I wrote about this Free People sweater and mom-ish jeans being my go-to uniform. And I envision I’ll be doing the same again this year, but I’ll be swapping my zero-stretch Good American jeans for these new Good American Always Fits jean! They are much more my vibe for this year, and I love how comfortable and flexible they are. This sweater was made to be paired with a great pair of jeans.

Free People Easy Street Tunic Sweater + Faux Leather Joggers
You might recognize this outfit combo from when I recently wrote about why I love these faux leather joggers. In fact, this sweater is the perfect match for any pair of joggers! I think this outfit formula is the vibe for the rest of 2020; an ultra–comfy sweater with chic joggers and a practical pair of Chelsea boots. I am taking all these pieces back home to Wisconsin — this will likely be my go-to outfit for my grocery store outings!

Thank you! I get so tired of seeing nothing but cashmere, merino, etc. I have terrible wool sensitivity, and I can’t even wear the softest cashmere without breaking out in hives (I fervently wish I could). Cotton and cotton-acrylic blends are my go-to for sweaters. I’m checking out this tunic!
I am exactly the same way! And I over the years have found that Free People have my all time favorite sweaters!
