Is it safe to say that the holiday season has officially started? Since Black Friday deals have already begun, my answer is YES! Let the holiday festivities begin!

I’m already thinking about what I’m wearing for holiday celebrations, and I’ve been leaning heavily into my new favorite faux-leather pants from Gap as a fun way to update a casual look and make it festive.

These pants are my new go-to this season, and they’re currently included in Gap’s early Black Friday sale, happening now! OH, FAUX-YEAH.

Faux-Leather Pants, Meet Casual (But Still Festive) Holiday Outfits

I bought these faux-leather, straight-leg pants from Gap a couple of months ago and immediately fell in love. When it comes to everyday style, I get bored really easily, but these pants are the perfect way to switch it up from my beloved jeans. Keep scrolling for three easy holiday outfit ideas to try…

1. With A Chunky Cap-Sleeve Sweater & Sneakers

When I’m going for a holiday look that’s timelessly stylish yet still updated and fresh, this pairing is a no-brainer outfit for me so far this season. This high-quality (yet affordable) chunky-knit, cap-sleeve sweater (it also comes in in ivory + more sizes) worn with my faux-leather pants and my favorite adidas sneakers is an easy, sporty and chic look.

Fit Note: The pants run pretty true to size; although, if you’re in between sizes, I suggest ordering a size down.

2. With A Floral Print Sweater & Mary Jane Flats

When I’m in the mood for a casual, fun and feminine vibe, I throw on this gorgeous floral-print sweater from Anthropologie and my beloved Sam Edelman Mary Jane flats. It’s a simple yet effective way to add a little romance to your winter wardrobe or a holiday look.

3. With An Oversized Flannel & Platform Doc Martens

I’ve been wearing Gap’s Flannel Big Shirt nonstop this season. The fabric is so soft and so cozy that I never want to take it off. I’m currently loving this look so much that I’m basically wearing it on repeat right now.

Paired with my platform boots from Dr. Martens, this is my go-to outfit for whenever I’m feeling like I want a ’90s-inspired, grunge vibe (yes, even for the holidays!).

Fit Note: For the oversized flannel shirt (also from Gap and also on sale), I went with a size large because I wanted a very oversized look.
