Choose Your Vibe: Cute Winter Accessories

We’re a fairly practical bunch around here and we focus a lot on go-to basics, jeans, the best boots, well-made coats…and that is all super helpful I hope, but (and this is me telling myself mostly) we mustn’t forget the accessories!

A basic outfit that is comfy and fits great is wonderful, but, especially this time of year, accessories can really make your look shine, not to mention keep you warmer and cozier.

Scotti and Linzi do a good job at this (like in Linz’s recent fabulous bags post, right?!) But as someone who often forgets to accessorize much, it was fun to work with my pal Nova and pull together some cute options…organized by category. Whatever your vibe for accessorizing is…we’ve got you.

Our Fav Chic, Colorful, Sporty, Cozy & Neutral Winter Accessories

I think it would depend on the day for me, which vibe I’d choose…but I’m somewhere between colorful spice and sporty spice…I mean, vibe. And I am so digging those retro perforated Ugg gloves. Need.

Chic Winter Accessories

1 | Felt Captain Hat

So freaking cute. Love that this is in a warm cozy felt, too.

2 | Barefoot Dreams Wrap

People rave about Barefoot Dreams fabrics. This could be worn under a coat as a huge scarf, on top of a sweater or just lounging around the house. A great gift, super versatile. Ooh, and a similar luxe version here.

3 | Ugg Shearling Leather Tech Gloves

So chic, cozy, AND convenient that you can still use your phone. Comes in a few color options. Also more colors at Zappos.

Colorful Winter Accessories

4 | Free People Ski Beanies

Snow bunny vibes without even having to ski. So cute! Can’t decide which color is my fav.

5 | Free People Sherpa Scarf & Bag Set

Love. Need. Comes in 3 color options. As someone who has a lot of neutral outfit pieces and jackets, this would add such a fun pop of color and print!

6 | FP Fleece Headband

What can I say, Free People has all the cute winter accessories. These are great for those of us who don’t love hats. Need one for my daily walks.

Sporty Winter Accessories

7 | Stoic Puffer Gloves

These look SO freaking warm and fun. Perfect for time in the snow or if you just have really cold hands like I do.

8 | Fjallraven Beanie

Love everything from this brand. Their items are SO well made and I can’t resist that fox logo either.

9 | Sweaty Betty Base Layer Leggings

The print on these is just gorgeous. Many team members here who actually ski LOVE Sweaty Betty! I love base layers for when we do actually get snow or for just lounging in our cold drafty house. Size up in Sweaty Betty in my experience.

Cozy Winter Accessories

10 | Ugg Perforated Shearling Gloves

Ooh, classicly chic and warm. Comes in 3 color options. Digging the 80’s vibes here with the perforated details. My mom totally had a similar pair, but they were probably Isotoners!

11 | Free People OTK Socks

So cute for layering over leggings or on their own with skirts as it warms up a bit. Also great for throwing on with pj shorts for hanging at home.

12 | Faux Fur Slippers

Talk about cozy and hanging at home…these look so so soft.

Neutral Winter Accessories

13 | Ted Baker Scarf

Love this fuzzy style scarf for ultimate coziness.

14 | LLBean Tote Bag

Some of the best, classic tote bags ever. Love seeing them back in use.

15 | Madewell Mittens

These are one of my favorite picks of the bunch. SO cute, but going fast.

Let me know your favorite vibe in the comments, friends! Stay warm out there.
