Spring Outfit Idea: True Blue Jeans & Creamy Whites

Come spring, I often find myself wanting to just…lighten up. Lighter skies, lighter mind, lighter colors. And this year, I’ve been really drawn to denim in a hue that I’ve started thinking of as, “true blue”. True blue jeans aren’t light wash jeans, but they’re not navy, either. They’re just a really pretty shade of real, blue-jean blue.

The Spring Color Combo I Can’t Enough Of: True Blue Jeans + Creamy Whites

There’s just something about the combination of these true blue jeans with soft, creamy whites–it feels especially fresh for spring, and a nice change from my winter blacks and grays.

Because boots are creamy white instead of a stark white, they have a softer look that makes them more versatile (not to mention they don't get dirty as easily). When paired with true blue jeans and soft white sweaters, it's the spring outfit combo of my dreams.

These Creamy White Booties Are On Point

I fell in love with these white boots immediately and started wearing them with all the things. I had previously bought white boots before, but never really liked the way they looked with anything.

I love the soft white boots with this cozy cardigan. I layered it over this linen button-up blouse (nursing-friendly!) that's perfect for spring & summer. It doesn't cling + is great for hot weather because of the breathable fabric.

A Cardigan Perfect For Spring & Summer

I love the soft white boots with this cozy cardigan, but it’s unfortunately almost sold out. This Madewell cardigan has a similar vibe (and is 20% off for insiders – free to sign up!). I layered it over this linen button-up blouse (nursing-friendly!) that’s perfect for spring and summer. It doesn’t cling and is great for hot weather because of the breathable fabric. (I somehow missed that gorgeous blood orange color the first time around, but just picked it up on sale for $35!)

These mid-rise Vintage Slim Jeans from Gap are so so good. I love the mid rise and the soft feel of the denim...and they come in three different fits and three different lengths for the perfect fit.

Mid-Rise Jeans In Just The Right Hue

These mid-rise Vintage Slim Jeans from Gap are so so good. I love the mid rise and the soft feel of the denim…and they come in three different fits and three different lengths for the perfect fit. I sized up to a 29 (I’ve gained a bit of weight and some reviewers said they ran small) and went with the short length (I’m 5’4″) and they were perfect. (The mid-rise Vintage Slim jeans come in a ton of washes, too!)

  1. I love this whole combination Scotti. In looking at the sweaters, do you have a favorite bralette you would recommend? And can you please remind me of the cami you wear under things? I keep meaning to buy it as it looks like it is comfortable, would provide coverage and doesn’t show underneath things.

  2. I love this whole look, Scotti! Do you have a recommended bralette? And, can you please share the cami you always rave about? I keep meaning to buy it. Think it would be perfect under these. (And sorry if this ends up being a duplicate comment, I was having tech issues this morning- meaning I was typing before my second cup of coffee.)
