I think it was a…Shopbop sale. Yes, it was. I use high-end retailers’ sales as an opportunity to invest in jeans; this time, I was focused on flared or bootcut jeans. Two pairs made it to my cart: these DL1961 Bridget Boot High Rise Instasculpt Jeans, which I thought would be keepers, and these MOTHER The Super Cruiser jeans, which I kept. Why? Well, let’s get into it.

It wasn’t that the DL1961 jeans weren’t great. They were, but the wash and fit didn’t do much for my figure or wardrobe. Contrarily, the minute I put on MOTHER The Super Cruiser Flared Jeans, I realized how much I wanted an actual flare, even if it initially scared me.

A lot of “flared” jeans sometimes are closer to a bootcut than a more pronounced flare, and it turns out The Super Cruiser jeans give you a good flare while accentuating your figure and making you look fabulous. Check out the video to see exactly how they fit and why they made it to my weekly rotation, styling ideas, sizing deets, and more.
