You know that feeling when your jewelry game is feeling a little…dated? Sometimes, “dated” in a good way — like really cool vintage heirlooms — but I’m talking about that tired, worn-out, non-good way. I guess you can say uninspired. And jewelry is supposed to serve the opposite feelings: fun, creative, intentional feelings. It’s eye candy, after all.
We all have our own classic, go-to pieces that we stack on the daily (ahem, wedding rings/other significant pieces), but sometimes a li’l bit of new sparkle on your knuckle, décolletage or wherever transforms your whole look (and even mindset?). Dramatic, but I’m serious. You ever try on a new ring or bracelet and just feel different? And maybe…like a million bucks? Yeah, let’s chase that feeling.
I Love A Vintage Vibe: My Fave Jewelry From Fossil’s Fall Collections
Fossil just came out with its Fall Essentials Campaign (though jewelry transcends seasons, in my opinion), and the pieces are subtly divine. Like, nonchalant but impactful. We love that kind of feel because, frankly, it’s the easiest to style with anything and everything.
The Heritage and Malachite collections are two of my favorites right now. I really love the nod to vintage treasures always but especially in the jewelry realm. These nine pieces below exude a type of legacy vibe in such a delicately playful way that I’m obsessed with.
1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8 / 9
1. Sadie Trio Glitz Gold-Tone Stainless-Steel Station Necklace
Stacking thin, simple necklaces has such a pretty, layered, multidimensional effect. I love adding pretty midlength necklaces like this gold-tone one to my everyday chains for a bigger impact.
2. Modern Meadows Reconstituted Green-Malachite Heart Chain Bracelet
Bracelets are one form of jewelry that really give off a delicate, feminine style. This bracelet is a light, simple chain with the sweetest little green-malachite heart. SO perfect for what will likely be a green-heavy fall. (We’re excited.)
3. Sadie Trio Glitz Gold-Tone Stainless-Steel Stud Earrings
For adding to a multipierced ear or for a stand-alone look, these gold trio-crystal earrings add a bit more sparkle and unique shape than your more-basic gold stud. I have three ear piercings and really enjoy adding earrings like this to a chunky gold hoop and a smaller diamond.
4. Sadie Trio Glitz Gold-Tone Stainless-Steel Ring
Ahhh, one of my jewelry faves: rings. They’re SO fun to stack and swap around for the ultimate fancied-out look. Mixing gold with silver has been my thing for rings lately, and this dainty little wraparound ring would fit perfectly; I’ve found the crystal binds the gold/silver color gap really well.
5. Modern Meadows Reconstituted Green-Malachite Heart Earrings
How cute are these earrings? The deep malachite green really elevates a simple snap-in huggie hoop — which is a style that I frequently reach for to add to my current ear edit. (Haha, by this I mean whatever three earring pairs that are currently gracing my ears.)
6. Heritage D-Link Gold-Tone Stainless-Steel Chain Necklace
Every once in a while, I stray from my usual gravitational pull toward thin, simple pieces and venture out for styles like this. The chunky chain is just so glam without being flashy because there are no big, dangly parts. This type of necklace makes any outfit look just fancy.
7. Modern Meadows Reconstituted Green-Malachite Heart Signet Ring
I love color, but when it comes to jewelry, it’s often hard for me to take the plunge if it’s a little out there. I’ve found that deep colors like this malachite fare sooo well (especially in small amounts like with this teeny-tiny heart) with other pieces instead of anything too bright. Oh, and the heart shape of this signet ring is just downright gorg. That helps too.
8. All Stacked Up Gold-Tone Stainless-Steel Signet Pinky Ring
Pinky rings are, like, the coolest. I find them kind of hard to come by, so when I spotted this dainty signet version in Fossil’s collection, I immediately added it to my favorites. Basic in the best way yet super-chic styled on a pinky. Love.
9. All Stacked Up Reconstituted Green-Malachite Dog-Tag Necklace
This dog-tag necklace is in the men’s section, but it’s totally genderless, in my opinion. A longer necklace with a midsize piece of something fun can be really neat to style, especially in this classic dog-tag shape. Stack it with any of the above necklaces (and really any other mentioned pieces) for that delightfully layered look.
Fossil just knows how to charm us. (Haha)
Xo,
Abby
