Wide-leg trousers are everywhere this fall, and I’m obsessed. The wider the leg, the harder I find myself falling. At first blush, I didn’t think I could pull off this trend because of my body type. I’ve spent years avoiding wide-leg trousers like the plague, thinking they couldn’t possibly flatter my make curvy frame, wide hips and thick thighs.

Boy, did I get that SO wrong.

Wide-Leg Trousers For Fall: Stepping Out Of My Comfort Zone & Lovin’ It

May I introduce…the most flattering trousers I’ve ever owned that actually accentuate my curves. Not to mention, they are almost as comfortable as a pair of sweatpants. It’s safe to say that I’m officially a big fan of wide-leg trousers. In fact, I might make these my go-to pants for fall.

I think the key to making these wide-leg trousers flattering for my body type comes down to the proportions. These trousers already do a great job of lengthening my shorter, curvy frame, but when paired with a crop top? Hello, accentuated waist!
