Let me get right to the point here…these faux-leather jeans from Gap are amazing. They’re soft inside, mid-rise (yay!) and make me feel amazing. They’re incredibly comfy and true to size. I can’t wait for it to cool down just a bit more so I can live in them. Get some.
Secondly, boxy, soft, midweight sweaters like the striped turtleneck I’m wearing here are just so cozy and easy to wear. And did I mention it’s soft?

A Signature Fall Outfit That’s Comfy Yet Edgy

If there’s a fall outfit that I could claim as signature, one that really feels like me, it’s this one. The striped sweater, a nod to the preppy, paired with edgy black faux-leather jeans and a black bag.
It’s a simple but effective combo I’m digging so much right now…as the rest of what to wear for fall kind of eludes me.
The Faux-Leather Jeans
Portland is cooling down now and it’s alllmost the perfect temp for these rad faux-leather jeanns. They’re midrise and the fit is great. They’re soft on the inside but not too thickly lined.

I don’t typically opt for a flare jean, but this is a baby bootcut and fits beautifully over boots and shoes but looks a bit more like my favorite straight leg on. It’s perfect.
True to size on these. I’m wearing my typical 29 and they have just enough room to be comfy. I’ll also pair them with tees and sneakers or tees and boots until it cools a bit more!

The Striped Sweater
I’ll always be a sucker for a great striped sweater. I love the boxy cut of this sweater, the wider sleeves, the stripes and how soft it is. (I think I mentioned that one already.)
