I’ve been a fan of utility jumpsuits and coveralls for a while now. Madewell used to be my favorite, but now? Now it’s Good American’s Fit For Success Jumpsuit.

Wowza! It’s giving the exact vibes I’ve been looking for in a fitted, structured jumpsuit. It’s so cute on, and it has the utility details I love, BUT it’s fitted enough to be dressed up. AND it’s offered in straight and plus sizes. This is not gonna look like your granddad’s garage coveralls, my friends. (Fun fact: My granddad has always rebuilt cars!)

I never use this word, but I’m totes feeling snatched in this babe. And once I figured out the right size for my bod, I’ve been hooked on this jumpsuit.

Feeling Snatched In This Good American Jumpsuit: Details + Shoes To Wear W/ It

I sized up to a Good American size 3 (I believe the equivalent of a large), in the jumpsuit, & I'm so happy I did.

This pic above is the second or third time I tried this jumpsuit from Good American. I sized up to a GA size 3 (I believe the equivalent of a large), and I’m so, so happy I did. I kept trying to make a size 1, and then a size 2 — my typical go-to sizes in stretch jumpsuits — work, but because I’m straighter through the midsection, the size 2 didn’t give me enough room to feel comfy throughout the day.

You’ll see below, the size 2 fits great standing up, but it was juuuust tight enough that I wound up sending it back. Months later I was still thinking of and dreaming about this jumpsuit, so I ordered the size 3, and voila. Perfection.

I think this jumpsuit is brilliant because the fabric is substantial but really stretchy, and it has tabs at the waist you can adjust to a looser or tighter setting. So, if you do have more of an hourglass figure, you can customize it to fit more in the waist too!

My friends of all sizes have tried and love this suit too. Jess (see it on her here), Anne and my photographer, Posy, all have and love it! And we’re all different heights and body shapes. There’s something magical about it.

My Sizing (In General): My size details are 6/8 and a 34D in U.S. sizing. I’m 5’4″ with a booty, a straighter midsection and a shorter torso. I’m also a little broad through the shoulders with longer-ish legs for my height (29-inch inseam).

Jumpsuit Sizing: The Fit For Success jumpsuit is offered in Good American sizes 0 to 8, which is equivalent to sizes XS to 5X. They’re listed as different sizes on different retailers, so it seems like Good American might be updating its custom size to be more universal.

This jumpsuit comes in and out of stock regularly and has a few different styles, so here are some that are available right now. I’ve linked to the straight-leg version I have on, but it also comes in a cute bootcut option (also comes in and out of stock regularly.)

What Shoes To Wear With The Good American Jumpsuit? Try These

Another thing I love about this jumpsuit? It’s so, so versatile, friends. Here are three types of shoes I’m rocking with this bad boy (plus some other things I’m pairing with it).

1. With Booties

I cuffed the hems of this Good American jumpsuit a bit to show off the boots, & the legs cuff really nicely.

Whether it’s pointed-toe heeled booties or mod Western-style Chelsea boots, both look great with this jumpsuit. I cuffed the hems a bit to show off the boots, and the legs cuff really nicely. The fabric is so great on this because it’s not only structured, but it’s also stretchy and pretty soft. It’s magical. Pop a boxy jacket on top for cooler days or to add a little more color.

2. With Loafers

I adore the pop of fresh springy/summery/mod vibes white loafers add to this Good American jumpsuit.

Shoes and a bag can really make a solid dress or one-piece feel thought-out and intentional.

You could definitely do black loafers here, but I adore the pop of fresh springy/summery/mod vibes white loafers add to this black jumpsuit. A white shoe is one of my favorite trends that have reemerged over the past few years.

Add any fun color of bag you have and love, and you’ve got an interesting combo that’s still easy and one-and-done — but doesn’t feel boring.

3. With Sneakers

I adore my Nike Blazer high-tops, & I'm glad they work well with the Good American jumpsuit.

I adore my Nike Blazer high-tops, and I’m glad they work well with the jumpsuit. I’ve also paired it with my Nike Dunks too — both the lower- and high-top versions. This Free People puffer I won’t stop talking about is SO cute here because it adds an easy, sporty layer that also shows off the great booty moment this jumpsuit gives!

The takeaway here is this Good American jumpsuit is ah-mazing…once you find your fit. It somehow magically flatters a range of sizes beautifully, and has that rad, slightly utilitarian vibe — but in a sexy, versatile version. If you’re a jumpsuit lover too, I hope you’ll check it out!
