They’re baaaaack! The boots everyone loves…or loves to hate. You’ve seen them with leggings, you’ve seen them with jeans, and since I’ve made the claim that these UGG OTK boots do — in fact — go with everything, I thought I’d show them one more way: with bare legs.

Fall Outfit Inspo: UGG Over-The-Knee Boots + Long Cardigan + Mini Dress

Because they’re so warm and go up past the knee, I can get away with wearing these UGG boots with a mini dress and a long cardigan without being cold. (Until winter, that is–then I’ll just have to add some tights, probably in a cool pattern to switch up the black on black on black–like this pair I just bought from H&M.) Everything is covered up, but that little peek of skin keeps it from being overly modest. This is exactly the kind of outfit I always wanted to wear, but my regular over-the-knee boots just weren’t warm enough for the weather up here. (Which is why these UGGs have become my go-to boots this year.)

Outfit Details

cardigan: Leith Cozy Long Cardigan (xxs) I sized way down in this one because it can be overpowering on shorter girls (I’m 5’4″). I finally got it right with the xxs. It’s perfectly cozy and comes in a ton of colors. (I wear it instead of my ugly fluffy robe at home!)

dress: BB Dakota Long Sleeve Minidress (m) This is the perfect layering piece. It’s thin, so I wouldn’t feel comfortable wearing it on it’s own, but it’s perfect over leggings or under cardigans like this. I could layer graphic tees, sweaters and sweatshirts over it, and the best part is how stretchy and comfy it is.

boots: UGG Classic Femme Over the Knee Wedge Boot (more sizes here) I’m obsessed with these boots. SO warm! (Also in that classic chestnut color.)
