Winter is in full effect here in Colorado. The snow is like nothing else I have ever seen. It’s the winter wonderland kind of snow dreams are made of. It’s simply stunning, and feels more magical than the heavy, torrential snowstorms I grew up with back in Wisconsin.

This winter, while you will most likely find me in a great pair of joggers like these, I am committing myself to getting a little more dressed up for my weekend outings to…the grocery store! (Or whatever.) And this entire outfit from Kohl’s is going to be my go-to outfit for weekend errand-running. I’m talking about 720 Levi’s jeans that fit just right, a perfect pair of boots with the fur, and, of course, a super-cozy sweater. It’s my ideal wintery weekend outfit.

I personally think Kohl’s is a hidden gem when it comes to finding amazing pieces. Winter Weekend Outfit Details
jeans: Levi’s 720 High-Rise Super Skinny Jeans – omg y’all I am on a roll lately with finding stellar jeans that stray away from my traditional picks. While I do own plenty of skinny jeans, the distressed gray wash is one that I don’t have in my closet. After reading way too many reviews on the 720 Levi’s, I decided to branch out beyond my favorite Wedgie Fit Levi’s (currently $34 at Kohl’s) and boy am I happy I did! The fit is amazing, and I personally love the v shape hem and stitch detailing on the back of the jean. These have some stretch and run true to size. A bonus for the jeans is that the cotton is sourced through the Better Cotton Initiative™ and supports more sustainable cotton farming. A win in my book!
sweater: Chaps Marled Boatneck Sweater – The two things that drew me to this cute af sweater were the neckline and the most perfect marled pattern. I love sweaters that have a muted design like this one, and it seriously is so cozy too!
boots: Journee Collection Trail Women’s Ankle Boots – I feel like as time goes on, my outfits become more and more Colorado, and these boots totally give me that outdoor-woman vibe! I love the fur tongue and gold detailing. They fit true to size, but are a slightly narrow fit.
