Winter always hits hard for me and my non-seasonal Colombian blood. The early sunset and darkness depress me, and the cold keeps me inside my home. Once winter comes, I don’t know what to do with myself other than hibernate and hope my happy 50-70 degree weather will return soon.
While most days you’ll find me in jeans and a sweater (even if I don’t leave the home, #workingfromhomelife), in the winter, I have a lot more loose-and-comfortable kind of days.
But make no mistake, if you know one thing about me, it’s that my Mami and Abuelitas taught me by example to always look put together and feel beautiful no matter what.

So now I’m the proud owner of beautiful sets that I wear to lounge and work from home, and today I want to share my latest addition: Naadam cropped pants, top, and hoodie.
How I Stay Warm & Stylish At Home
Special note: Naadam has an amazing sale, so you may find some color options at unbelievable prices. I’ll make sure to give all the sizing info for easy shopping.
1. Let’s Start With a Good Top
Lately, I’ve been very into these cashmere cropped tops. They’re a perfect layering piece for extra warmth under chunky sweaters or by itself under a jacket – I even wore it for Bogota’s weather with high-waisted jeans and a leather jacket on top. But they’re also perfectly subtly sexy to wear at home with lounge pants.

Sizing: It depends on your preferences. I’m a true S, but I wanted a looser/longer top, so I sized up. I’m also a little over-conscious about showing my midriff at times. You can see more cashmere tops below.
2. Comfy Lounge Pants All Day
Yes, Naadam has a longer-length version that I adore, but I’m petite, so I go for the cropped one to have the perfect length for me. I also must admit the cropped length looks good on the taller model, and will always be jealous that I can’t get the same look.

Sizing: After ordering the S, I felt my thicker thighs needed more room, so I went for the M. I’d say they run TTS, but if you’re like me, you may want to size up. Also, before anybody asks what the underwear situation is, I firmly believe in smoothing shorts under loose pants. They’re comfortable and smooth and give you a magical look without panty lines.
3. Top It With A Hoodie Or Sweater
Lastly, a hoodie if you need more warmth; Naadam has great hoodies for both men and women. My husband has this one and wears it non-stop. The one I have is very limited in size, but you can see other hoodies below.

Sizing: When it comes to sweaters, I prefer a just-right look, so I stay true to my size or even size down if it’s an oversized sweater.
4. Keep Your Feet Warm
Oh, wait! I was forgetting my beloved slippers. Last year I made a resolution to embrace my indigenous heritage more and one of the ways I’m doing it is by always wearing at least one piece by a Native brand. For cold weather, I went straight to northern Natives and found Manitobah.

I got their snow boots and these slippers, and after owning Uggs and many other slippers, these are now my number one. I even got a second pair for my Abuelita, who was the happiest.

And that’s it! This is one of my favorite winter outfits to lounge or work on. I wear a tailored coat/leather jacket and sneakers for school drop-off, running errands, or traveling. I recently wore it as my travel outfit under a trench coat for our redeye flight from Bogotá back to NY and loved it.
I hope you’re enjoying the beauty of winter more than me.
Besos,
Julieta
