“Casual chic” is a term I use to describe the style of someone with a very casual lifestyle, but who still likes to feel put-together, whether out and about or at home. That’s me, to a tee. I’m a mom of two young kids who works from home. I’d love to live in fancy looks but can’t, so…nada que hacer. The six outfits below revolve around the same set of accessories: These P448 platform sneakers (which I own and love), these Vince loafers, this AllSaints leather crossbody bag (in two striking colors) and this Clare V crossbody. Plus, two under-$100 surprises: this neoprene belt bag and these Sam Edelman low-top sneakers. Oops, almost forgot — a gorgeous link necklace that looks amazing in gold and silver.

Outfit Idea 1: Cozy Greens

This outfit started with these Sweaty Betty lightweight, tapered pants. They’re perfect to wear right now with a tank and sandals like the model, but they’ll easily transition into fall with a cozy sweater and suede sneakers. The biker jacket is optional but would make the outfit a lot more put-together if needed.

Outfit Idea 2: Always Ready For More

I’m torn between these MOTHER The Tomcat Wide-Leg Jeans and these Joe’s Jeans flared version. I love both brands, but I think it comes down to the wash. The Tomcat jeans are more of a medium blue, while the Joe’s seem to have a warmer tone, which I love. The wide-legged silhouette always looks great with a drapey, slightly cropped sweater.

Outfit Idea 3: From Gym To Street (In Monochrome Blue)

I won’t lie…the teal color captivated me. Not only was I ready to get the high-waisted leggings and knit sports bra right away, but I also want an actual outfit in the same color — just with different depth and chroma. I’d first chosen this cropped track jacket to go over, but then the coziness and color of the funnel-neck sweater are on point. P.S. That jacket is good, and I’d totally wear it over this.

Outfit Idea 4: City Strolling

It’s hard to find RE/DONE jeans and their amazing fits and washes on sale. I can see them with pretty much anything, but the idea of a cuff-sleeve tee, great loafers, some pretty jewelry and a colorful bag sounds ideal to me. This Reiss longline coat would make any outfit. I like to throw wool coats over sweats, leggings, jeans and more.

7 For All Mankind is gifting us with a pair of high-waisted boyfriend jeans in the sale this year. I know I’m probably the only one, but I’ve never tried this brand, so this pair looks tempting. When I saw this Topshop ribbed polo, I knew I had to do something with it. I can see the collar popping a little under the dark-green sweater, and I love the color combo it would create. Not into green? The polo is equally gorgeous in black and stone.
