We know joggers are a favorite around here for wearing with our sneakers of all sorts, but I recently asked the question — can we wear joggers with boots?
Are We Styling Joggers With Boots Now? Maybe.
I found these great non-athleisure, but soft and comfy utility joggers from Banana Republic and they became the perfect pair to test out in this video try-on sesh. Take a deep dive into my brain and process of trying stuff on as you watch…haha.
I’ve linked all the pieces I’m wearing below here, with any fit notes.

Would you try out joggers and boots? I think sticking to something in a non-athleisure fabric, like these BR joggers, seems best for pulling off this look. I do think a black jogger in a tech fabric might work though and would be willing to try that out. Let me know if you’ve tried this and been successful!

Here in Vermont, anything can be worn wirh boots, from the first snowfall through mid season. You wouldn’t receive a single strange look if you paired your most stylish joggers with snow boots
That said, I don’t like the look. As much as most of us have grown attached to our athleisure wear of the past 18 months, there are some items that just don’t work well together. Then again, I’ve seen cropped joggers with ankle boots in certain fashion ads so it wouldn’t necessarily be a faux pas.
Boots schmoots, that rug stole the show! And what a good price; It looks much more expensive. Now, if I only had a place for it 🤔.
