I’ve been a Reformation stan for years.
From really sexy knit sets, to cotton dresses that I’ve hiked up to the top of mountains in just for epic pictures, to lounge and athletic-wear pieces, I’ve loved and worn it all.
Reformation is one of the few eco-conscious brands on the market that has dabbled in inclusive sizing, and while I wish it would create some of the more epically good pieces in plus size, I have to say I’m quite impressed with this season’s plus-size selection.
Let’s get into this oh-so-good haul of some outstanding pieces that have me excited to strut into the end of summer & fall.
If you want to get straight to it, these are my favorites: All the cool girls are wearing maxi linen skirts (pictured above) | the silkiest, sexiest top you’ll wear this summer | OK, Shana, you were right… Ref’s linen dresses are stunning.
The Search For Cool AF Plus-Size Clothes Continues: A Reformation Try-On
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, finding cool AF clothes for plus-size babes is just about as rare as finding Willy Wonka’s golden ticket.
It’s a serious challenge, and it requires hours and hours of searching websites for the few pieces that are trendy, timeless and give me all the cool-girl vibes. Finding cool clothes from sustainable brands? Even more unheard of… And clothing that fits curvy bodies in linen and silk?! Yeah, that’s like the winning lottery ticket for the billion-dollar jackpot…
But you all, Reformation finally did it!
For the first time in my recollection, Reformation launched several linen dresses and skirts in extended sizing! And since Shana has raved for years about how much she loves Ref’s linen pieces, I decided it was time to give them a try for myself.
I’m living for all things linen and silk right now, and Reformation knocked it out of the park this season. Gahhhh, I love every single piece I tried, and I want to keep it all!
1. European Vacay Vibes: Reformation Rowen Linen Dress
Why is it that pretty linen dresses immediately make me want to book a trip to Europe? This dress makes me feel like I need to be on the French Riviera sipping an Aperol spritz while I watch all the gorgeous men walk by. OK, maybe it’s just my fantasy, but this dress is fantastic.
The Rowen linen dress is an ultra-lightweight linen fabric (read: breathable), and surprisingly it looks amazing with my favorite sneakers. It has delicate lace detailing and the tiniest and most adorable micro-bow right at the center of the bust. IMO, it fits true to size, but as a petite plus-size babe, I’ll have to get the straps altered because they’re a bit too long for me.
2. All The Cool Girl Vibes: Reformation Tazz Maxi Linen Skirt

L: top | skirt | slides R: tee | skirt | slides
Reformation’s Tazz linen maxi skirt, though — it’s 100% my vibe! It’s the maxi skirt of my dreams and makes me feel so incredibly sexy and cool af. I love that I can wear my overly well-loved Gucci slides with it, and it pairs perfectly with graphic tees, silky tops & trendy asymmetrical tanks.
The detailing on this skirt is simple yet still makes a statement. The slit at the center of the skirt is dramatic yet not overly revealing, and I love the horizontal stitched-line detailing that makes this simple statement skirt even cooler.
The Tazz linen maxi skirt is 100% linen, with no stretch, fits TTS, and boy oh boy does it make my cheeks look incredible. The tighter fit around the waist and hips paired with the soft natural flare of the skirt gives my body that va-va-voom factor I love so much. It’s incredible, and I can tell you all already, I ripped off the tags the minute I put it on.
3. Simple & Timeless: Reformation Zoe Skirt
Before we dive into the details of Reformation’s Zoe Skirt, I need to spill the tea on this pretty asymmetrical knit tank in the most gorgeous shade of blue. These days I can get away with wearing an XL on top, and when I saw this ribbed top on Ref’s site, I knew I needed it for myself. It’s such a fun top for summer, and I’ll also be wearing it with oversized blazers come fall.
OK, on to the skirt… The Zoe Skirt is the kind of skirt that you buy once and then lives in your forever closet for years to come. It’s so simple yet an absolute essential for my wardrobe. I tend to be more of a skirt girlie than a dress girlie, because I like the challenge of creating an entire look around whichever skirt I’m wearing. While you can’t tell from the photos, this skirt does feature a sexy side slit, and is an ultra-lightweight, drapey crepe fabric. P.S. I need to return it for a smaller size.
4. Flirty & Feminine: Reformation Overland Silk Top
OK, wow. Reformation’s Overland Silk Top is absolute perfection. It fits immaculately, and the forest green paired with such an elegant floral pattern feels so incredibly feminine and flirty. Julieta also has this top, and I immediately understood why she loves it so much. The top stops right where my hips just begin, I love that it has delicate adjustable spaghetti straps, and the back of the top features smocking, so it can stretch and flex if you’re a babe who fluctuates in size.
5. Pretty, But Not My Vibe: Reformation Layla Silk Skirt
Don’t get me wrong, the Layla silk skirt is very pretty — it’s just not my vibe. I’m not sure if it’s the color that doesn’t speak to me, or the the fact that it’s too big in the waist, but it’s a skirt that I feel comfortable not keeping. I will say, when paired with a gorgeous silky top, I think the skirt makes for a perfect wedding guest outfit.
OK, so I basically loved everything…and am having a hard time deciding exactly what to keep… LMK which pieces are your favorites!

Kat
