As a petite person with shorter legs, jeans with a really flared leg are not my favorites. But more than my height, it’s my style personality. Not for me”.

How Do Levi’s Ribcage Bootcut Jeans Fit?
- These jeans have 1% elastane, and the high amount of cotton means they will break in and stretch a little.
- They still feel rigid compared to super stretchy denim, but the 1% makes a difference.
- If you like a snugger fit, size down. I’m a 26 in most brands, but here I went for a 25, and they were perfect after a couple of wears.
- Size up in the darkest wash; it’s the most rigid wash. I own the light, medium and black wash, and they all fit great in a 25.
How To Avoid Hemming Bootcut Jeans For Different Shoes
If you, like me, mostly wear low heels, having a pair of platform sneakers will allow you to switch without any issue. My P448 sneakers have a platform, and my booties were only 1″ higher.

I need to be able to wear my bootcut jeans for school drop-off, pick-up, the playground, a soccer game…which on another note, seems it’s all I’ll do this season with my son joining the travel team. For a more elevated look, change out the sneakers for nothing less than pointy-toe boots. These are those FRAME white booties from the NSale, and they’re probably my best purchase this year. When it comes to bootcut or full-length straight-leg pants, I like pointy shoes to elongate the leg. While these FRAME booties are, technically, chelsea booties, if you look for western-inspired booties you’ll also find similar styles with the low heel and pointy toe.
Then I add accessories, a tad more makeup and done. Ready for a night out with friends or partner in 10 min.
