Casual, Luxe, Not for Me: Loeffler Randall Sonnie Slides Review

Most days you’ll see me wearing traditional comfort-brand shoes (my cushiony FitFlops, my versatile Birkenstocks slides or my cute walkable clogs). Occasionally, however, even I — the blogger obsessed with comfortable shoes — like to branch out a bit and work into the rotation luxe designer sandals.

I mean…it’s a HUGE perk of this job…getting to try out so many different types of shoes. And I admit, I definitely don’t shy away from trying out the gorgeous expensive ones…as long as they look like they’ll be “comfortable enough.”

The designer brands’ chic designs without fail make my go-to casual outfits feel more…special. If this type of shoe is in your budget, there’s a reason they’re so expensive, you guys. They look and feel ultra-luxurious in person, even though the sandals themselves are still casual in style.

Our Comfort Shoe Queen Goes Luxe: Loeffler Randall Sandals

Vince & Loeffler Randall sandals are often my top pick for designer sandals. Not only do they have beautiful designs, but they're almost always comfy enough for my feet.

Not only do they have beautiful designs, but they’re almost always comfortable enough for my feet…as long as I’m not trying to power walk in them all.day.long. Vince and Loeffler Randall also have a really nice range of casual styles. They’re still very special, but I like for my luxe picks to not have to be saved for special occasions only. If they’re THAT pretty, I want to wear them with everything!

A stunning braided design, buttery soft leather, and a sandal I knew I would wear on repeat with dresses and denim — I was SO excited to try the Loeffler Randall Sonnie slides.

Designer Sandals With A Casual Everyday Vibe — But Not The Right Fit

So disappointing! They aren’t for me. In this video review, I cover what I like about these Loeffler Randall sandals (primarily that they’re absolutely beautiful in person) as well as what I don’t like (not the right fit for my specific foot).

I will note that Shana tried them on and loved them! She only took a quick walk around the room, but she had none of the fit issues I did, so if you love the look — they’re plenty cushiony and soft — it may be worth a try to see if they fit your feet better than mine!

Would love to hear if any of you guys have also tried these in person and what you thought! Am I the only one with the fit issue???

Here’s to happy feet…always!
