I’ve been wearing Athleta’s Cabo Linen Joggers (and wide leg pants and shorts) for a while now and I LOVE them. They’re super comfy and versatile. So when I saw that they now come in cactus peach, a gorgeous orangey-coral color, I snatched them up right away.
It’s the same fit I know and love: the high and wide (flattering!) waistband, cool zipper detail and elastic bottom…but in a bright, fun color that’s perfect for summer.
Oh, ps. Athleta is currently offering 20% off your purchase for Memorial Day Weekend. Discount applied at checkout, ends 5/30. Woot!

Athleta Cabo Linen Joggers: Cactus Peach & Cool Enough For Summer
Linen pants are always one of my go-tos for summer because they’re lightweight and comfortable. And since linen is a breathable fabric, they’re not super hot even though they offer more coverage. These pants the perfect alternative to shorts and are just as easy to dress up or down.
(I also love that Athleta offers petite and tall sizes in addition to their 0-16 sizes. I’m wearing a regular length here, but the petite is great for when I want them a bit more cropped like the model.)

The waistband is stretchy and comfortable and also has an adjustable drawstring. When I first saw it I wasn’t sure about that wider waistband, but it’s actually really flattering. It kind of smooths everything out and helps to define the waist without digging in and creating any muffin top.

How I’m Wearing The Cabo Linen Joggers Now
I also love that the pockets on these joggers have zippers. They add a bit of unique detail (along with the silver-tipped drawstring) that elevate this particular pair of linen pants. So while I’m wearing them casually with my typical t-shirt and flip flops here, I can easily dress them up with a dressier top and sandals. The other night I wore them with this tank (in maverick tan) and these sandals for dinner and dressed the whole thing up a bit by adding a chunky bracelet and hoops. Still super-comfy but a bit more festive.
The way I wear the Cabo Linen joggers most often is casually, usually with a graphic tee or v-neck t-shirt. I love this melange burnout t-shirt from Alternative. It’s super-soft and nice and thin, a 50/50 blend of rayon and polyester (my favorite fabric for t-shirts) that gives it that worn-in, vintage-y look and feel. It’s easy to tie up into a little knot on the side so I don’t have to deal with tucking anything in. (This V-neck comes in a ton of color options and is on sale right now!)

The Cabo Linen shorts also come in the cactus peach color I’m wearing here, and while the wide-leg pants don’t, they do come in a tawny rose color that’s really pretty (in addition to the classic black, white or chambray). Cheers to COLOR!
