We recently relocated to Carolina Beach, North Carolina (temporarily!). We said hello to an actual spring and goodbye to snow (if only for a couple of months). But packing for three months is definitely a challenge — especially when the temps span 50-80 degrees.
So to make things easier, I left most of my jeans at home and opted instead for lightweight, versatile pants that took up less room in my suitcase and could go from March to May depending on how I styled them.
Surprisingly Comfy: 3 Lightweight Pants I Want To Wear All Summer
My three favorite lightweight summer pants are from rag & bone (also in a cool light wash or a non-distressed version here), Free People, and Billabong. Each one of them can easily go from cover-ups at the beach, to brunch with a cute top, to running errands or out to dinner.
Below, I’m wearing them over my Seafolly one-piece (that can double as a bodysuit when I’m not at the beach or pool) but you can see how I warmed up the rag & bone pants in my review here and the Free People pants here.
