1. Pretty Summer Dresses
Pretty summer dresses are easily some of our most-worn pieces in the hot weather. They’re breezy, easy to wear and comfortable. ’Nuff said. We tend to gravitate toward Gap’s linen-blend dresses like the one Linzi’s wearing above, or this puff-sleeve dress that Linzi also happens to love. And they usually come in regular, petite and tall sizing.

2. Easy Tops & Tanks
We’ve been loving on Gap’s Crinkle Gauze fabric for its light weight and softness. So, this Crinkle Gauze button-up shirt (that Em’s wearing above) might be my next purchase. But they have some other great options, like this 100% cotton crewneck tee that drapes perfectly or a linen-blend tank top too. (I really try to pay attention to the fabric content for that summer heat).

3. Essential Sweaters & Cardigans
Sometimes you need a sweater or cardigan in the summertime for the ocean breeze at night or those freezing-cold restaurants at the shore. But I usually try to still gravitate toward something 100% cotton like this perfectly cropped cardigan. Another way to rock sweater fabrics in the summer? Something like Gap’s chic ribbed tank or maybe even a ribbed sweetheart tube top.

4. Modern Jeans
I definitely struggle in the denim department. Finding my size and perfect fit isn’t the easiest, so I really appreciate that Gap offers tall and petite sizing. Linzi’s fun flare jeans above go up to size 35 and come in regular, tall and petite inseams. I love the two-tone denim and ’70s flare. SO good.
Gap has a bunch of other fun styles like these classic wide-leg ankle jeans in the perfect blue wash, or hello, snap-side jeans. (You gotta take a look at those).

5. Relaxed Jean Shorts
A lot of the Gap denim shorts we’re eyeing have that relaxed, girl-next-door quality to them. Like these midi shorts with the frayed hem, or the ‘90s Loose Bermuda shorts. Nothing too tight or restricting over here.
