I did a little Andie Swim try-on earlier this summer and was really impressed overall. But I sometimes find that my opinion changes once I really put something to use. Swimsuits, especially, fall into this category. Either there are fit issues once I start walking around and swimming, or I end up feeling mumsy once I’m out in the wild.
But The Paloma, with it’s gorgeous ribbed fabric, sexy back and girl-next-door vibes, was totally calling my name. Furthermore, it’s available in both regular and long torso, and the straps are fully adjustable. My exact Paloma (white ribbed fabric) goes up to size XXL, but some of the other colors in this same style are available up to XXXL.
So, I put this suit to the test over a weekend in Ocean City. I swam — even went to a water park — and the suit performed beautifully.
Cheeky, Sexy, Comfy: This 1-Piece Bathing Suit From Andie Swimwear

One of the reasons I was initially drawn to Andie Swim’s Paloma is that it’s so freaking good with cutoff shorts. This was an easy outfit for walking around Ocean City.

The ribbed fabric means that it almost looks more bodysuit than swimsuit, and I love that the added texture skims over lumps and bumps. Once again, I’m wild about that square neckline too. It’s almost…racy.

This ended up being the kind of swimsuit that I can swim, run, play and sit cross-legged in…without fear.

And while the suit is juuuust cheeky enough to feel modern, it was never uncomfortable walking around.

While I did pack this suit on our boat trip in Turkey…I didn’t wear it. Frankly, it was so hot that I barely wore one-piece suits at all (this one was the only suit I wore exactly once), instead sticking to the tiniest string bikinis I could stand. Which simply means that next summer I’ve gotta try Andie’s string bikinis. They’re eyelet (SWOON).

You are soooo lucky to be able to “rock”, lol, a white onepiece! It’s always a classic and crisp look! I, unfortunately, am a pre-menopausal sz 12 (though: proud of my curves!) and have never had an even-enough skin tone to be able to pull-off wearing white (or, also, olive) swimwear. It does look great on you and, like it could double as a versatile Summer bodysuit (something I’ve found to be a comfortable combination -with the bonus of support!- when it’s 80+ outside; usually, a black tank one paired under a white linen blazer and shorts). Thank you.
