Each year that we published our Swim Shop (going on at least five years now), we’d get a flurry of emails from readers asking about bikinis. And I get it…I rock a bikini on the regular, too. And while we never meant to ignore the bikinis, the hours of research these guides take…man. I just needed some help!

Personally, as much as I love a good print and some summery color, I still swear by my simple, black J.Crew string bikini for just about all ages and stages. I’ve been wearing that exact style since high school (thank you, J.Crew!). I also love Maaji for bikinis that are both adjustable AND stay in place (this Maaji top and bottom are currently in my cart), and I’m still really into bikinis with sleeves, like either this sporty bikini top or this flirty one with puffed sleeves.
